I recently contracted with Posten Painting to prime and paint my unfinished basement. I did get 3 bids and Posten, yet they were not the cheapest bid, there were the most detailed and professional. The paint crew were all extremely nice and great to do business with. The quality of the work was fantastic. I would definitely hire Posten again for my next paint project.

Great job was performed by Posten team. Kevin Posten's wife, Angelique, came for the project quote and to quote it. The price was good and we accepted. The color change was from a dark maple stain to an off-white paint. Required sanding, priming, sanding, and multiple coats of paint. The cabinet doors were spray-painted offsite. Everything was reassembled just as it was. Very pleased.

Great! Good skilled craftsmen and craftswomen every time. Crew members were very good to work with and did nice work all around. They are careful about putting down drop cloths, masking, etc., to protect surrounding surfaces, furniture, etc. They were on time every day and did their best to work around our "living" schedule. They are fast, thorough and ask questions when things weren't clear. I appreciate their asking rather than running a risk of having to repaint an area. They have high standards and worked **** ** some difficult surfaces until the finished work product met their standard. We recommend Kevin and Angelique of Posten Painting and their crew and will use them again for interior or exterior work when the time comes... as you see, we already have.

Kevin Posten and Pedro did an outstanding job of painting the cabinets and the whole kitchen looks 100% better. I'm sure this will increase the value of our condo. AND all of this was done during the holiday season when time was limited. There was a slight misunderstanding regarding dates, but Kevin and Angelique bent over backwards to accommodate our schedule at the last minute. I highly recommend them.

Posten did an excellent job on my project. They were very conscientious and professional in their work and we are so satisfied that we intend to use them to do our son's fence as well. I always say that repeat business is the sincerest form of customer satisfaction and Kevin and his team have ours.

Preparation by painters was very good, and the attention to detail was extraordinary. Others have mentioned Angelique's great color eye, and she was most helpful in choosing the colors. I am very, very pleased with the results.

Great! We really appreciated the team, and love the work they performed. It was great to have Angie help with paint colors (I'm awful with decision-making, but she had great ideas!). We're relatively new to the whole house updating game, and we're super happy we went with Posten. I'd recommend them time and time again!

This is the third or fourth time we have hired this company because they do such beautiful, meticulous work. It starts with Angelique's amazing color consultation (complimentary). She has a real eye and gift for color. And she has the patience of a saint. On this most recent job, she happily re-did the entire palette after tile installation made our original palette selections unsuitable. And she had about an hour's drive each way to our home!

Kevin and Angelique employ only experienced and VERY skilled painters who know how to problem-solve and make you happy! They know how to fix little things, and they are always willing to accommodate your requests and preferences. We are retired and were at home during the entire 7-day job. The three painters--Shane, Greg, and Doug--were professional, polite, considerate, and sometimes hilariously funny. We never felt that we were in their way, and they patiently answered my 1,000+ questions. We sorta missed them the day after the job was complete...

After our first experience (2013) with Posten, who several neighbors had recommended to us, we didn't even bother getting other bids. I don't know if Posten would always be the lowest bid, but as with all things, you get what you pay for. We have found their prices to be fair and reasonable for all that they provide in terms of service, experience, and skill.

On a scale of 1-10, we give them a 25!!

It was a pleasure to work with Posten Painting.  From the bid through the completion of the work everything went very smoothly and we love the result.

We have a two-story house with a double roof line and a combination of shakes and lap siding. It has additional interesting architectural details. Angelique Posten gave us a competitive bid for using three colors and was in complete agreement as to the placement of the colors. She came back a couple of times to discuss and finalize color choices.
We were a ways down in their queue so we had to wait a bit, but we were fine with that.
They sent a crew of two who proved to be up to the job. Although it would have been easier and quicker with a crew of three or four, the two seemed undaunted. The job took about two weeks.
The job required a lift to reach the top tier of the second story. The painters were experienced with the equipment and were able to maneuver it as required. They were completely confident climbing around on the roof(s) to paint.
They were methodic, diligent, skillful and thorough. They were experts at masking and kept overspray off of the roof, the foundation, and adjacent colors. They did a lot of caulking, which made a big difference. The paint was applied evenly and accurately. They made sure all windows opened after the sashes were painted.
They brought in a third person on the last day whom they termed and quot;an excellent brush man.and quot; He was, but they all were. They did a lot of brush work on the trim and it was expertly done.
Toward the end of the project there were some corrections that needed to be done. They were taken care of without delay.
Now when we look at our house we say and quot;d***!, that looks good!and quot;
Posten Painting -- owners and painters -- are great people and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend them to others.

Posten advised us of the cost and benefits of refinishing the doors versus painting them. Refinishing the doors would have required a significant amount of labor and would have been almost triple the cost of paining. Therefore we chose to have the doors painted. Posten recommended a color for the doors. Although we did not pick the exact color they recommended we chose one that was really close. They completed the project in less than one day with no mess. Posten's communication with us from job estimation to completion was great.

We hired Posten Painting initially for the exterior of our house. After the wonderful job they did for us, I did not even seek competitive quotes for the inside painting we wanted done. It was a no-brainer! They are as good at interior as exterior, from the consultation of colors with Angelique, to the painting quality supervised by Kevin. The guest bedroom had need of ceiling repair, and even though there were other areas of patched ceiling, the texture (deep groove pattern) was matched perfectly, over the previous flat patched areas, over the stain, and where the ceiling needed to be secured and repainted. Really fine work by all of them. Always predictable, flexible, workable, and professional. Cheerful, and respectful.

Angelique helped turn the house my husband and I just bought from a taupe dungeon to a home full of color and warmth! They painted: living room (vaulted), family room (vaulted), dining room, kitchen, entryway (vaulted), master bedroom, master bath and laundry room. They also removed wallpaper on two walls and repaired any damage.

They fit us into their tight schedule with very short notice and got all of the painting done within a week to allow us to move in when we needed to. Their crew was extremely nice and professional. The painting looks fabulous and they did an excellent job of protecting my house and floor. Overall, we are more than happy with the work done and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone who is looking to having painting done.

The Details as proposed and completed:

- Mask the walls, floor and other things to keep paint off of them. We will and quot;tentand quot; the area around the work area, including the front door to keep dust to a minimum.

- Spray one coat of primer on the new shelving units.

- Spray two coats of paint on the shelving units.

- We will let the dust settle for a day and return the second day to take down the plastic and clean up.

- We will use Miller Acrinamel paint with a semi-gloss finish, which is what was used on the mantle, (painted 2010).

WE could not be more pleased with our end result. See YELP review. Angelique provided wonderful color consultation at no extra charge, and made numerous suggestions on paint color, coordination and blend of colors together, extra colors for trim to highlight the bungalow style of the house, even though this meant extra work for them. I would not have thought of these things, and as a result, many compliments for neighbors walking by! The workers were very professional, very polite, showed up on time, cleaned up before leaving the job each day, removed hazards, respected our needs as they came up during the project. We can not say enough about the company. They arrived on time, and given all the parameters of weather in Oregon, came close to their expected finish. Kevin came back to clean spots on the patio, and power washed the concrete patio and porch. Our neighbors, having experienced with us the disaster that was the previous situation, complimented us on the professionalism. No loud radios, no explicit language, quiet workers, no chit chat, all in all a fairly painless experience. We would not hesitate to use Posten Painting, and intend to do so for interior painting very soon.

Stripped and cleaned several days in advance of the finish work. Prep work was thorough and complete. Great care taken for home siding and walks. It's a beautiful finish and everything was cleaned up completely. Nice job. The Posten team did not rush and they took the time necessary to do an excellent job.

This project was a very positive experience for me from beginning to end. The owners were very professional and at the same time friendly and reassuring. Their son performed the work with another young man assisting him. They did excellent work. Both were very polite and courteous. I was 100 % satisfied and very happy with the finished product. My decks look terrific. I definitely plan to employ Posten Painting for future, interior and exterior work.

I heard of Posten Painting when I went to a Timber Pro retailer and asked about contractors who were familiar with using their (eco-friendly) products. Angelique and her husband were responsive, considerate, and the finished product looked great.

They were great and did a good job. The painters were nice, and I felt very comfortable around them.

The experience working with Kevin, Angelique and their crew was excellent from start to finish. The job they did was great, they kept me informed throughout and they were very professional. They did a great job cleaning up after they were through and even placed everything back on my decks after a few days of allowing the decks to dry.

I was referred to them by a friend at work. They provided excellent service and work. Their talent for painting is amazing, they were quick, clean and efficient. The owner was a joy to talk to and work with as well. Their pricing is not inexpensive but the value is definitely there. I definitely recommend them and will use them again!

They are a wonderful and true sweethearts! They will come back and fix anything you are not happy with. Their prices were competitive, and I am satisfied with their work. I definitely will be using them in the future.
