went very poorly.  Called the request in at 8AM Waited for over 1-1/2 hours for someone to show up.  The poor girl they sent came all the way from Vancouver , WA.  Weather was not an issue.  The call was initiated thru Road America.

I managed to lock myself out of my garage because my automatic garage door opener failed and I did not have a key to the side door (the only other way into the garage). The tech arrived within a half hour or so of my call. She even called to let me know she was on her way. She was able to pick the lock in a few minutes and charged me exactly the price I was quoted. I would definitely use Pop-a-Lock again for this type of service.

I called for service and made an appointment for the next day. The technician was on time and completed rekeying 6 locks in my home and providing me with ten copies within an hour. Excellent work, professional, and prompt. I wouldn't use any other locksmith.

When returning home, I couldn't open the entry door that goes into the house from the garage. I was able to gain entry into the house via the back patio door using my house key and tried to open the door into the garage from inside. Being a Friday night and after 6 pm I was quoted the emergency weekend rate by several locksmiths, most starting at $80 and charging an additional service call fee. One couldn't come out until the next day. I initially thought I could wait until Monday for the lower rates but realized how often I would need access into the garage and I would have had to go out the back patio door and open the garage door using the key pad. I called Pop-A-Lock who was able to send someone within the hour, and I had called before their weekend rates kicked in. The locksmith did arrive within the hour and replaced the door latch. Total cost $70.

My 18-month-old son somehow locked himself into my bedroom, which had a key-operated privacy lock. Pop-A-Lock rep arrived within 30 minutes, struggled for a while with the lock, and ended up just using a gigantic pliers to rip the doorknob out of the door (with my permission). They did not charge me for the service; they have a no-charge policy for locked-in kids. I am one thankful mama. We replaced all of our interior doorknobs with non-locking or pin-open knobs the next day.

The service was excellent. It was the same day service and the charge to come to the house was minimal -- we also received a senior discount which was not offered by other locksmiths in our area. At least when I called them and asked I was told no. The fellow was very professional and friendly. He worked fast and we had our locks rekeyed and had new keys in less than 30 minutes. I would recommend POP A LOCK to anyone.

The operator asked my car make/model and the driver came in about 30 minutes. They must have a "recipe" for each car, because he went right to the back passenger door and had it open in seconds with no damage to the paint. Then he used the key, which I had conveniently placed on the driver's seat, and quickly shut off the alarm. He didn't make me feel stupid for my mistake.

Prompt arrival and courteous service. Accepted credit and cash payments. Did not damage my car at all when unlocking the door. I called 5-7 towing companies and locksmiths and their price was the lowest. It enabled me to leave a $5 tip and still come within the $50 reimbursement limit set by my insurance company. They arrived in a small SUV clearly branded with the Pop-A-Lock paint job that signaled professionalism. The emoloyee was in uniform and well prepared to work.
