Pearl Painters

This was the 2nd time we have used Pearl Painters, and we were again very satisfied. This project involved painting the walls and ceiling of a large bedroom and the master bathroom. Pearl responded quickly to our initial inquiry, visited our home, thoroughly examined the project site, made a video recording of the site and the work to be performed, and provided us with a detailed work scope along with a fair price. The communication was very good throughout the project. The project leader was Isaiah Hines, and he and Josie Robles worked all day and into the night to finish the entire project in one day. They were professional, polite and friendly, and kept us informed throughout the project.

I have now used Pearl Painters for two major projects - my homes full interior painting 2 years ago, and more recently the entire exterior (photo attached). Both experiences were fantastic. First and foremost, Brian, (the owner) clearly is a perfectionist. He takes great pride in his company and refuses to cut corners. His crew is top notch and very professional. They show up on time, work hard throughout the day, are friendly and personable and do great work.This was so important to me as I have children at home and it is important to me to feel comfortable with the crew working around my home (and my children) for multiple days. (I also noticed some of the crew working on my recent job were the same guys who did my last job over 2 years ago! It must be a good company to work for if they are keeping the same crew around.) The painting on my exterior has literally transformed my home. Every day when I drive up the street I cant help but smile when I see how beautiful it now looks! I had no idea a fresh coat of paint, done well, could make such a drastic difference for a homes curb appeal! At the end of the project, Brian and Craig were both pointing out imperfections that THEY wanted to fix in order to finish the job to their high standards. These were things I wouldnt have even noticed, but Pearl Painters truly wants it to be perfect when they leave. This is the opposite of so many other companies/contractors I have worked with in the past who sweep things under the rug and hope the customer doesnt notice. There is honestly no cutting corners with these guys - They are top notch and it shows. I had sticker shock inititally when getting quotes for doing these big projects- and I shopped around both times, but the professionalism of Pearl Painters stood out and made me choose them, and honestly, I think it was worth every penny.

They did a fantastic job. Excellent communication and punctual. Did the job in the time and price quoted.

The project went very well despite our indecision on the paint color and need to switch part way through.

I would highly recommend Pearl Painting, and wish I would have had their services in the other homes I have lived in across the country over the last 10 years. High attention to the details in quoting process, scheduling, punctuality, and quality of work performed. We had a difficult project that included spraying interior cabinets, and also in new wood walls in a small bathroom. The lines needed between colors in living, dining and kitchen were perfect. Most of all - customer service of the painters on the projects completing the work was second to none. I also thank Pearl for providing me with the name for color consultation - the advice from Vanessa from ColorMoxie was perfect, and the rooms look beautiful! We will continue to use Pearl Painting for future projects and highly recommend them.

Being my first and only painting experience, it was overwhelming to say the least. But thanks to Brian, who led me through every step on how to do it right and was amazingly professional and responsive, I made it through and have a 20 year old house that is back to it's original paint glory. There were a lot of things going on with texture and oddities from the renters and they took care of them in record time and it looks great! Seriously, Craig and his team were so fast I didn't even get to meet them but when I came to inspect, it was all great. You couldn't even tell they had been there, other than the house was painted. :) it was amazing and the neighbors noticed and were asking all about them. Definintely would recommend and if I have any paint needs in the future, I'll be back!

loved the video for job details to be done left no room for error, they were on time and finished on time to deadlines. Had no touch ups after the job completed above expectations. Will hire for painting going forward.

We were in need of an entire floor to be painted due to massive water damage. The painters arrived at the time they said they were - and worked until a reasonable stop time into the evening. With all of the disruption that we as a family had already been through previously - the Pearl Painters - punctuality and professionalism was much appreciated. The paint job itself is also exceptional.

Brian and his team (Luke, site manager and Craig) were absolutely awesome. From start to finish, I felt like they knew what they were talking about, had great ideas, great suggestions, and were extremely flexible with us. For the most part, there was fantastic communication, and a great desire and willingness to make our project one that we were extremely happy with. I feel they bent over backwards when we, as homeowners made a few mistakes, to make it a positive experience. Luke was AWESOME and very easy to work with. I’m hoping to hire again for my interior at some point.

Could NOT say enough good things about this company. Truly the best quality service and staff. The quality of workmanship was hands down impossible to beat. Clean, Professional, punctual, hard working, dedicated staff who were happy to be doing their job. There is nothing they’re lacking, they can’t be beat.

Looking forward to future projects with Pearl Painters! I first met with Brian Kemnitz 6 years ago and he said at that time my house was in a good shape, with no immediate need for painting. I have known since then I could trust him and his expertise. My busy schedule of an academic forced me to wait with the project longer than intended, but the recent experience of exterior, and some interior, painting by Pearl Painters has only solidified that initial impression… Brian Kemnitz recorded a movie for me, detailing all steps of the project and materials that would be used, with justifications of scientific precision. Then, each step was executed by an eager to work team, led by Craig and Luke, two phenomenal managers and painting experts. Their leadership and interpersonal skills are truly remarkable and, without a doubt, greatly contribute to excellent outcomes of the team and communication. Luke, the onsite manager and lead painter, handled all my questions and additional requests as one could only dream of, giving the much needed peace of mind and reassurance. Notably, he is exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable. To sum up, in a couple of short weeks, Pearl Painters have transformed my house and wooden deck with pergola. As unusual as it might sound, it was hard to see them leave at the conclusion of the project because of the energy and positive vibes they emanate... I am sincerely looking forward to future projects carried out by Pearl Painters.

They did great work. They helped up match up the main desk and shelving color to the trim work and the desk surface was matched to other furniture in the room. It looks great!

We hired Pearl Painters to paint the exterior of our large three story house which sits on a sloped lot. We chose them because of the great job they did a few years ago when they painted some interior rooms. It was easy to contact Brian, the owner, and arrange a time to receive a bid. He provided a detailed bid which consisted of a video walk around of the house while he narrated all of the details and issues we had talked about. This is handy, because it allows his crew leader to see what we had talked about and agreed upon months later when they actually show up to do the work. I was contacted by his crew coordinator and was notified about when the house would be pressure washed and when the actual painters would arrive. The wash man, Anthony, showed up on time, worked diligently, and finished in just over half a day. A week or so later, the painters showed up. Luke, the crew leader, was great to work with. He was good with communicating what the crew would be working on next. There was some good and bad however. Admittedly, I'm picky about details and quality work. I know Pearl Painters can deliver quality work, and I felt I was paying top dollar. Subsequently, I demanded a top notch job. After the first coat was sprayed onto one side of the house, I checked their work. The Bad: once I saw cobwebs that had house color sprayed on them, I knew I needed to look closer. Sure enough, bug debris, web cocoons and hornet cones up by the rafter tails. I was underwhelmed. The Good: I brought it to Luke's attention. He immediately removed all of the previously missed debris. The Bad: as they worked around the house, they continued to miss small items that should have been caught prior to the first coat. The Good: Luke never got frustrated with my close inspection of their work and quickly addressed each issue. The bad: they had some staffing issues and were only able to get three workers to my house for a full day once. The Good: Luke and Anthony worked a long day on Friday (Their first day off) and Luke worked most of Saturday and Sunday (His whole weekend)! Luke would not leave until he had addressed every last issue. The final product was great. We are very pleased with the outcome and would recommend them highly. On balance, I could live with having to double check all of their work, as their willingness to fix any issue and overall positive attitude more than made up for it.

Excellent! The attention to detail, quality of work, and Brian's knowledge base on "everything paint" was beyond what we expected. Everyone on the job site was polite, friendly and nice to be around. In the 30 years we've been dealing with contractors Pearl Painters is the best we've ever had.

From the start, there were no surprises. Brian, the owner, was very detailed about how it would all come about and what I needed to do to prep for them. The employees were polite, hardworking, and explained what they were doing. The job was finished sooner than expected.

They were great. This was at least the fourth time we have used pearl painters. The bid was very professional and detailed. For this project we were unable to be in town and we felt comfortable allowing them to use a contractors box/key to access our home. Their crews have always been skilled and respectful of their surroundings, and this was no exception. They left the work area clean when they finished. They had to match our paint and it was spot on. There was a small detail with texturing that showed up when the light hit one area just right, and they came out to fix it right away. They weren’t happy til we were happy. And we are happy. You would never know we ever had an issue from the leak, it looks great. We recommend them highly.

Excellent! First rate and top notch all around. Brian is an excellent contractor with an experienced and professional crew who work well together and get the task done on time and on budget. They use high quality materials that stand up to the elements and time. He has greatly enhanced the curb appeal of our house and that quality is continued on the inside.

Brian's crew was amazing, great communication before the project, everyone was on time and respectful and the paint job was one of the best I've ever seen. Not a corner, seam or edge out of place. They completed the upstairs and downstairs ceilings in our main living areas in 2 days flat. Could not recommend Pearl Painters more highly!!

Everything looked great! I have an older house & they made the wall and interior doors look amazing. They patched some issues in the wall before painting it and also painted a built in shelving unit that had seen better days. Will definitely use Pearl Painters again. Vince & Luke were very professional & nice to work with. I did alot of the prep work before, so they could use their time to focus on painting the doors & shelving unit while here.

We were very happy with the work the painters completed. On time and on schedule and a great job. I would recommend and will use them again for any other projects.

Awesome. Brian most likely will be the first person you will interact with to schedule with. They are very good so they are a popular company to choose. You need to book in advance to get scheduled. The crew that comes out is very professional. I was very comfortable having them in my home by myself. Usually when I have workers in my home I have a friend stay with me. I don't remember how or who referred Pearl Painters to me (it has been several years) but I was impressed with his friendly personality, his professionalism and he had some great samples of paint techniques that they can do. They set up and take down and clean up behind themselves. Other than the beautiful paint job they do, you would never know you had workers there. We will be remodeling our Master Bath and Master Bedroom, and I will be contacting Pearl to get an estimate on the repainting of those rooms. I should give them all "A"'s but I only gave a "B" on cost because they are pricey, but they are worth it for interior paint jobs. Sorry that I don't have photos to show.
