They helped us load them and we were off.
The sold us cabinets and hardware for them. They helped us find products we were looking and also gave us alot of design ideas from them. The offer cabinets and hardware by piece or whole sets. They are honest, helpful, and no pressure. We have bought many cabinets and hardware from since 2009. We have been very happy with our cabinets. It is a great warehouse to shop and buy cabinets.Last time we were in we saw they had added granite countertops to there inventory. We give them an AAAA.
I went back in by myself and was given great customer service and had a quote and mock-up by the time I left. I came back in with my father and we purchased the complete set of cabinets. They were as patient and considerate of me (a single woman) as they were when I was with my father - very impressive.
We paid half at the time we put in the order and paid half when the order was complete. As we live nearby they were able to quote us an incredibly reasonable delivery charge and said they could hold the cabinets for up to two weeks if we needed more time to prep the kitchen (we put in new floors as well.)
The cabinets are beautiful and we couldn't be more pleased! We were given all that was promised and more.
The biggest savings I found here are the cabinet organizer inserts that some of the cabs have. I was able to get a few cabinets complete with organizers for anywhere from $35 to $200 that with those organizers would have easily cost up to $1000 elsewhere.
They have all types of cabinets from full kitchens to single cabinets at the warehouse and the staff there have always been helpful with questions, layout, etc. It took me 2 years to find all the cabinets I needed as they get in new shipments all the time, but I was looking for a certain door style. When I couldn't find the right door, but found the right cabinet at a great price, I bought it and added doors later (their loose doors are usually $2 each) I also painted all my cabs to match, so I saved a ton of money getting non-matching cabinets and then painting them myself. I think this place is perfect for the creative DIY'er as well as the person who just wants to buy a whole kitchen at once. Chances are good that they've got what you need. I also continue to go back and buy trim pieces here in solid wood (rather than get cheap hemlock at the big box) to finish out projects that I am working on in my old house.
I did end up buying a few cabinets I didn't need. Turns out some of the cabinets are too big to fit through my door down to the laundry room. However, I was able to use those cabinets for other rooms, and sell what I didn't need on Craigslist. I used the base of one cabinet and an upper cabinet together to make a piece of furniture that looks like a Hoosier cabinet, since they carry cabinets of all depths and sizes.
My new kitchen is lovely! The cabinets are a wonderful change from hard to close doors to soft close, and hard to open drawers to easy pull and soft close as well. I chose the maple cabinets with all wood pull outs and dovetail doors as well as plywood box construction. The garbage pull out is amazing! As are the pot/pan organizer and the pull out spice rack. Anyone looking at my kitchen thinks I paid a lot more than I did, but thanks to these guys, I didn't!
What I would recommend is that you bring a measurement of your space and an idea of what you want. Then sit down with one of the guys there (Dan, Jim, and Steve have all helped me and have been fantastic), and talk to them about layout. From there, go look at door styles to see what you like, and definitely look at the different types of cabinets to help get your organized (roll out trays, pull outs, different organizers) as they helped me make my small kitchen seem much larger from a storage perspective. Once you've looked here, go do some research on www.gardenweb.com kitchen forum and read everything you can about kitchens. Then go back to DIY with your layout, needs list and pocketbook and choose your cabinets! The combination of the two gave me the confidence and knowledge I needed to be my own contractor and save a ton of money on a high end looking kitchen remodel without the high end price.
