I've been thinking about how to write this review for some time, because in the end I was satisfied with the result - the house looks great and the crew was a pleasure to work with. My main concern is that I was charged for lead based paint removal/mitigation and I don't believe the proper precautions were taken. I wasn't always home when the work was being performed, but when I came home to review paint colors in the middle of the day or if I was working from home in the mornings, I never once saw protective gear being worn. Also, a dry clean process, which is what I was expecting, was not followed. They repeatedly hosed down the house to prep, without capturing or redirecting the water. I have since seen crews painting in my neighborhood wearing full protective gear and using a lot of plastic sheeting. I assume they were dealing with lead, but maybe I'm wrong. At any rate, that was the expectation I had when I signed the contract, but now I just feel like I was over charged...
