Large remodel project, 1st floor of the house completely gutted and redone, master bath and all new flooring throughout the home. Met or exceeded expectations. Philippe was professional and easy to work with. Project came in on time and at budget. Have already recommended NW Residential to other friends.

This was another very successful project by Philippe and his crew. The tile, windows, flooring and custom cabinets are beautiful. Philippe's careful planning made our project so much easier. We passed all inspections in Tigard quickly. Philippe is a good communicator who helped us solve many problems related to remodeling our older home. This project adds value to our home and allows us to age in place. We plan to have Philippe update our two bathrooms in the next few weeks.

Philippe is a very good contractor. He and his subs built a new kitchen for me according to my design plans. The finished kitchen is beautiful and well-built. It features a porcelain tile floor; cherry Shaker cabinets; a subway tile backsplash; and dimmable, recessed ceiling and under-cabinet LED lighting. The job was finished on time (in a fast 8 weeks) and essentially on budget (only a 1.8% overrun for relocating a heating duct and a tub drain above the kitchen). Philippe is intelligent, amicable, patient and trustworthy. He spent a lot of time discussing kitchen details with me, both before and after the contract was signed. Philippe is a good communicator and kept me apprised of important events by email and text. When I wasn’t home, I never worried that he left the doors unlocked when he left for the day. As with any job of this size, some problems did come up. The important thing is that Philippe worked them out to my satisfaction and without an argument. I asked for some upgrades – a water shut-off valve for the refrigerator water line, improved light switches and outlets, and additional countertop bracing. Philippe accommodated me at a fair up charge, even when he thought the upgrade was unnecessary. This speaks well to his desire to have a satisfied customer. In summary, I highly recommend Philippe and NW Residential. He did a great job and was a pleasure to work with.

Philippe and his crew did a very nice job on all three bathrooms. Philippe did some of the work himself which we loved. His subs were all very trustworthy and did solid work.

Philippe is a highly organized contractor who is a good communicator and problem solver. He helped us actualize our design by using high quality sub-contractors and his own expertise in finishing our project. He carefully outline the scope of work and provided a clear timeline that he met. Philippe kept us informed about the project details and our options for solving issues related to joining our new construction with the older style of our home. We added on a few items such as plumbing upgrades that connected the upstairs with the remodeled areas. He stayed on budget and helped us pass all of the city of Tigard's inspections promptly. Many of the sub-contractors mentioned to me how much they enjoyed working with Philippe over many years. Philippe is dedicated to providing a quality project that is on time and on budget. His calm demeanor helped to make the experience of remodeling as easy as possible. I would highly recommend Philippe @ NW Residential Inc. to anyone and we plan to hire him again to help us enclose our front porch to improve the safety of our entry area.

NW Residential/Phillipe Agnesse was clean, courteous, and on time every time. Both bathrooms were completed within the budget, and earlier than estimated. We had hired Phillipe to remodel our kitchen about a year before, and when we decided to remodel our bathrooms, we asked Phillipe to do it without any competitive bids - that's how much we liked him and were impressed with his work. I cannot think of enough good things to say about Phillipe! The quality and workmanship were superb, he was always on time, he communicated well, and cleaned-up every day to minimize the disruption to our house. I would recommend him any time, and kind of wish we had more projects for him. We will miss having him around!

My wife and I have a hard time saying how much we enjoyed working with Philippe and Ron! They were great in everything they did. Ron was here on time and he and his associates worked their tails off to get the job done. We had two bathrooms in our 1971 house and now we have two brand-new bathrooms that are spectacular! I would recommend this company to anyone who needs any work done on their house. You can't go wrong!!

We engaged NW Residential in mid 2018 to build an addition to our one floor house in Beaverton and to also re-model internally, to split a large family room into a small bedroom, a full bathroom, and a laundry room. This was a sizeable, and moderately complex project, which involved the demolition of a brick chimney and half of a patio, the addition of new room onto a house built in 1945, the replacement of an older electrical panel and movement of our main electrical supply, and substantial plumbing work. Philippe was efficient, in control, and highly conscientious. He chose very professional and qualified subcontractors and we found the communication and coordination to be excellent. Philippe estimated that the project would be done within three months, and it took exactly three months to the day. Philippe did a lot of the internal finishing work, which was perfectly done. Despite reaching out to many contractors, we were unable to get multiple bids, so it is difficult to provide a cost comparison with other contractors, but the cost of the project appeared to be reasonable and significantly less than some of the larger design-build firms would have charged. Philippe was also very responsive to any concerns we had about cost, and gave us good advice on where we could cut corners and where it would not be advisable to do so. The house looks great, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. We highly recommend NW Residential and Philippe.

Philippe and Ron did an unbelievable job on our remodel. This was a big job. We looked at a number of contractors and bids. We were very comfortanble with NW Residential. We had our kitchen, dining, and living room completely gutted. We had a wall torn down inbetween kitchen and dining room. Philippe's estimate was spot on and was very fair. He did some of the work himself and he is a true craftsman. There were a number of issues throughout the project. He handled them all. He made sure to go the extra mile on a number of things that we requested. One of the snags was the finish on our wood floors. The floor guy who redid our floors screwed up the finish on 2 occasions. We decided to get a new floor person. Philippe helped in this process. He ended up paying a fee of $835 to get it done right. This caused a delay in the time line, but it was well worth it. We were very particular on various items during the project. If there was ever a question, he made sure things were fixed to our satisfaction. This was our first remodel. We would definitely hire him again.

Outstanding service and competence! Have not seen this level of competence and work ethic in decades! We were so impressed with the laundry room work we contracted for the two bedrooms. Just sorry they don't do plumbing, yard work, car repairs or any number of other things we need done. Highly Recommended!!

Philippe remodeled 3 bathrooms in our home and we are delighted with the final results. Philippe demonstrated wonderful workmanship in the tiling of the shower and tub areas. The hickory vanities are beautiful as are the quartz countertops. The flooring looks great and we love the barn door style shower doors. Philippe left the work areas clean and orderly each evening and placed protective cloths over carpeted areas in the house to keep them free of debris during his work day. We were happy with all of his subs and the quality of their workmanship. This is our first major remodel and working with Philippe has been a positive experience. We are very pleased with our beautiful bathrooms!

Phillipe, Ron & Adam did an outstanding job on our kitchen. They completely gutted the original 1977 vintage kitchen and installed our dream kitchen, along with a new circuit breaker panel in the garage. They were on time every day, and work was done exactly when they said it would be done. They cleaned up nicely every day. The subcontractors were also on time, starting and finishing when they said they would. Despite a couple of minor glitches that were handled immediately, the project was finished on-budget and three days early. The best Valentine's Day present we ever got! We plan to use Phillipe and crew again to remodel both of our bathrooms.

It could not have gone better. Philippe was detailed in his bid, his process and his time line. They arrived each on time, worked hard daily and left the work areas very clean each evening. They made sure that we were pleased with their work and took time to review options with us - engaging at a perfect level so that we were all on the same page. The project was completed on time and on budget. I would easily recommend that they be included in anyone's bid process.

It could not have gone better. All the work was done as I envisioned and ahead of schedule. No one ever arrived late. Philippe did a great job of keeping in touch. All of the subcontractors he used were great! All Pro Electric and True Blue Plumbing. They were also on time and completed the work ahead of schedule. Everyone cleaned up nicely and I enjoyed each of the workers who were in my home. I am so pleased with the finished work. I hope to have Philippe back next year for another project.

I had my kitchen and master bathroom remodeled by NW Residential. I also had new laminate flooring put in the kitchen, dining room, and entryway. Philippe and Ron did a fabulous job on everything. For the kitchen, I had new cabinets, countertops, lighting, appliances, range vent, and tile backsplash installed. They also did painting throughout. The cabinets, lighting, and countertops were done through subcontractors Philippe works with but he makes sure everything is completed the way you want it to be. He also made recommendations as we worked through the estimate to keep the costs down. Ron did the tilework and the flooring and it turned out great. For the bathroom, I had Philippe close off the open vanity area using a barn door and he took down a wall and converted it to a pony wall. He was really meticulous with the barn door installation and it turned out perfect. Ron did the tiling in the bathroom and it looks fantastic. I also had new fixtures and shower door for the bathroom. I work from home and both Philippe and Ron were very courteous about making sure my office door was closed if there was a lot of noise. They also cleaned up every day before leaving. Throughout the remodel Ron and Philippe made sure everything looked the way I wanted it to which I really appreciated because I am very particular. I also made a few minor changes like the paint color in the bathroom that Philippe and Ron readily agreed to. I had one very small issue with the dishwasher that Philippe came out to fix the next day (on a Saturday). I would definitely use NW Residential again.

Here's your guy. Philippe was fantastic from start to finish. Handled all subcontractors + got the job done on time and on budget. Honest. Kind. Timely. Good communicator. You won't go wrong. BTW - never knew the guy until... I found him on Angie's List!

In our kitchen remodel project, Philippe played a dual role in coordinating his team (counter tops, plumbing, tile), while also utilizing his excellent workmanship as a skilled craftsman. Philippe displayed that paying attention to detail distinguishes a professional from an ordinary worker. Philippe kept the project moving on-time, kept the work-site clean and safe, and communicated any issues that arose in a clear and honest way – offering options and recommendation for a solution.

Philippe is the consummate project manager and craftsman. He and his assistant Ron add tremendous value with meticulous attention to detail and rigorous project manager. Philippe has also assembled an all-star set of subcontractors who were invaluable in assisting with the key design choices and performed their work on time and on schedule. Philippe and Ron are hands on and did the demo, drywall, painting, tiling, backsplash installation, and grouting themselves . Philippe was instrumental in convincing us to raise the ceiling from a low ceiling to a vaulted ceiling, which was the game changer in the new kitchen look. The project was done on budget and ahead of schedule. The quality is superb. Philippe and Ron are also a pleasure to work with for the 5 weeks that they were in our house. We love our new kitchen and are already getting compliments

Philippe and Ron were great! We've had work done by other contractors over the years that didn't hold up and NW Residential fixed all of that plus doing a bunch of great new work. Their workmanship and experience was great. We really liked that they did almost all of the work themselves rather than using a bunch of subs. The subs they did use for electrical, plumbing and the carpeting were all great. We only wished we had discovered Philippe years ago. We will definitely use NW Residential again and recommend him to our friends. The price of the work was reasonable and they were very professional, conscientious and punctual.
