I went to a highly recommended Toyota repair show in the far SE. He checked it all out and gave it a clean bill although he recommended to change out the PS fluid which we did. Because of what I saw as an attempt to up sell I will not go back period.
"We are very sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with our services. We attempted to speak with you in order to reach a resolution. Unfortunately, you were unwilling to discuss the matter with us. Our records for your visit on 6/24/14 show we serviced the front brakes as well as clean and adjust the rear brakes. Occasionally during the readjustment of the rear brakes, the actual feel of the brake peddle may change. If it still feels sub par to your expectations we will gladly recheck our work and make corrections if needed, free of charge. Your satisfaction with our services is extremely important to us. In regards to the up-sell, it is our practice to inform our customers of their vehicle's overall condition. According to our records the power steering gear (not to be confused with hoses) was leaking. I do hope that when the other repair facility took a look at it, they paid close attention to the Power Steering Gear as well as the hoses. We wouldn't want your power steering to fail and cause an accident. Your safety is always our priority. If the gear has not been addressed, we invite you back so that we may show you where the leaks are. If there is anything we can do to resolve this situation please contact us."
