They did a good job. He showed up on time. He did a few extras like, he cleaned down inside the furnace and adjusted it.

It went excellent. I am a realtor and I have used them several times, I also refer them to my clients. They are one of my go to sources for servicing oil furnaces. The staff is one time, knowledgeable and friendly.

I liked the service man and he explained everything to me and did a very thorough job. He was there for a few hours.

One of the men came, wore the blue booties so as not to track outside dirt, and opened the furnace, vacuumed the interior out, checked the filter, oiled any parts that needed it, and checked the furnace by turning it on to make sure everything was in good working order. He then made sure the entire area was cleaned up and took everything with him. I have used Mr. Nash's services since 1993 and have always been pleased with them. They are very professional, come when scheduled, never leave a mess, and make sure the furnace is in good working order. I will be calling in the next week or 2 to book this year's cleaning and servicing.

The technician cleaned the furnace. He explained that the problem was probably because it was so dirty, and that the cleaning probably fixed it. Since the problem was intermittent there was no way to tell for sure. We soon noticed that the problem was not fixed.
The technician didn't explain what we should do if the intermittent problem kept happening afterward. When it was clear the problem didn't get resolved we called Mr. Nash back. They said they could come out again, but it would probably not help much because the intermittent problem could only be diagnosed if it happens when the technician is here.
Basically, I felt the company was telling me they were incapable of diagnosing and fixing the problem. I called a different company who quickly discovered that a certain hard-to-reach part had not been cleaned, they cleaned it and that was all it took to fix the problem. 
Additionally, the Mr. Nash technician gave inaccurate information regarding how the furnace settings should be set.

Dutch arrived early for the appointment and completed the work quickly. We just bought the house and had questions about the furnace, which Dutch was happy to answer. We had a coupon for their Spring Furnace Tune-up special, priced at $140, so were surprised when the bill only came to $99. The woman at the office explained that special pricing was for oil furnaces, and as our gas furnace was simpler to service, they only charged for the actual time and labor. You gotta love that attitude in a service provider! 
The recommendation for Mr. Nash came from our Realtor, and we are very happy to have found a friendly family business providing quality service at reasonable prices. We were so happy, in fact, that we had them back the next day to move the thermostat in the new house to a better location. Again, they were prompt and professional, and did a great job. 
NOTE: Spring time is their slow season, so if you've been thinking about having services on your place, call them now--you'll get a fantastic response time!

Mr Nash himself came out and did the service. He has been doing this work for a long time and is very knowledgable and good at what he does. My furnace was a difficult brand to work on and get to the areas he needed. He didn't charge me as much as he could have for the extra time he spent. I have used him more than once and have always been happy with his service.

We have been using Mr. Nash for 15 years to do regular maintenance and servicing for our Real Estate clients.  They do inspections, cleaning, modifications and repairs and they do them completely with no short cuts or disclaimers.
Marv is one of the best oil furnace guys that I know.  Even though there are fewer and fewer of the old "octopus" furnaces around, he has a working knowledge of them that is impressive.  Andy, his son, has inherited the same information. 
This is a "Mom and Pop" business that works.  They are on time.  They don't bring their personal problems with them and they leave a clean, well running furnace behind.... or they give you the information you need to make a change. 
Mr. Nash is a dream team.

great!  Mr. Nash is an older gentleman who knows alot about furnaces.  He was very thorough and explained how everything worked.  It would be good to take notes during his assessment, as he gives good advice for running and maintaining your heating system.  Also, Mr. Nash just does a brief report on his receipt, no sophisticated computer generated report with photos.  But he was prompt, personable, professional and an expert on heating systems; just what we needed!  Would hire again.

The job went well. I worked primarily with Sterling, who performed the initial estimate and was my contact throughout the job. He provided prompt response to my questions. They helped me choose the furnace based on various price/brand reputation/ efficiency/  tax rebate options. Everything went as planned and the crew was professional, cleaned up after themselves, and communicated well throughout the job. They also reused my existing programmable thermostat (with no problems) even though other bids stated they would need to replace it. I received 3 bids for this job and don't regret going with Mr. Nash--I am warm this winter.

We just moved into our house and realized there was a heating oil leak in our basement at the shut-off valve.  We've never had heating oil before so I wasn't sure who to call, but the other people on the list I called could not get out for a day or so and I wasn't sure how dangerous it was, so I wanted someone to come take a look as soon as possible. Mr. Nash had good reviews and when I called they seemed to know exactly what I was talking about.  They were able to put us on the list of service stops that morning and the repairman called right before he arrived to let me know he was on his way.

He fixed the immediate problem by sealing up the old  faucet in the open position and made some recommendations on what we should do to get a working shut-off installed, as well as explained why this probably happened. And he put down some powder to absorb the oil on the basement floor.  

I was very pleased with the immediate results and they repairman was very pleasant.  

A "down to the studs" kitchen remodel prompted these upgrades. Mr. Nash Inc was very good with dealing with the complex timing issues required in allow for a successful multi-contractor project. They showed up when requested, preformed their work within the time parameters promised and showed corporation with other contractors.

They were prompt, they were thorough, and they completed the work in a satisfactory way. They seemed to charge a reasonable price and their professionalism and knowledge were first rate. It?s a family run business; the father, mother, and son are all in the business together.

Good job, no problems. Furnace has been working great.
