John Price came out as scheduled to give us a bid. He had several good suggestions to take care of our issues. We agreed on a schedule, and although the workers were a little late getting there the first day (to set the support posts in concrete), there was very heavy traffic. But, I had to call John to find out if they were coming.

The second day went very smoothly--the got the fence panels up, left the yard completely clean, took away all debris, and it looks GREAT! We're very happy with it.

The company responded within a day or so of our phone call for a quote. Upon arrival, we were given a couple options: 1) Remove the bent post and replace, pour new cement (this would cost at least $100 more than the #2 option plus permit costs 2) cut off existing post, leaving a short piece to cover with a slightly larger post. It was nice to have choices of options and prices. We also needed to discuss the gate at the other end of this section of fence that had been displaced.
We remitted half the pirce of $295 and we were aware we needed to remit the last half of total once work had been finished.
We went on vacation and upon returning we discovered the work was done beautifully. The gate section was working just as it should.
We know we were given a good quote as we had phoned other fence companies that gave much higher quotes. One company did not care to offer other options than the one we suggested. This company heard what we desired and suggested cheaper options.

These folks were great to work with. They looked at the fencing project, offered very good ideas, cost saving options, and I am sure they would have done a great job. As luck would have it a friend was out of work and offered to do the job for us at the cost of materials and very little more.

I had this company along with two others give me a bid on a fence project that I am planning on having done as well as some fence repair on an existing vinyl fence around my home. John Price was helpful, professional and the price was good. The communication was thorough and the final product was just as expected. I am looking forward to having Mcdermott Fence and Construction work on the larger fence project I have coming up in the spring. A Good company doing Good work for a great price! Well done guys!

Steve estimated a very competitive and fair price. He was friendly, professional, and terrific all around! We were so pleased to have his company do the work. His crew, John and Bob, were fabulous too. John has worked with Steve for a very long time (20 years, I think?) and was meticulous in all of his workmanship. The yard was difficult to fence because of the slope and the uneven grade, but you would never know it because it looks perfect. The fence is beautiful, the gate was custom and turned out just like the picture I gave them to replicate. They were a joy to work with and we couldn't be more pleased with the finished product. Since the fence has been complete we have had a number of neighbors asking who did the work and requesting the contact information for this company. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
