Mark Mention

I have hired three different tuners over the last two years for this older Steinway. The other two were both A rated on Angieslist (as were all ten tuners that came up on the site). I found Mark on the web outside of Angieslist and I'm so glad I did. He left the piano sounding far better than the others, better than I thought possible, almost showroom new. He builds pianos and knows the field like a true master. There are further refinements which would bring it closer to perfect and his prices for them and the tuning itself were all reasonable.

He started a foundation to benefit pianists.  My son entered the competition and was able to get a two-year scholarship.  He is really awesome.  He is very professional and well-educated.

Mark returned my call the very same day, made an initial appointment for the estimate of tuning cost & evaluation of worth of the older piano. A second appointment was made for the actual tuning process. He was prompt in both visits, removed his shoes upon entering, even though that's not what we do in our household. He explained what he was doing & how he was making his evaluation as he went along. The piano now sounds great!
