WARNING*** THIS COMPANY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY THEN SELL YOUR ITEM TO SOMEONE ELSE REFUSING TO REFUND YOU THEY TAKR ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE. A RUG I PURCHASED FROM THEM, THAT I PAID FOR, THEY SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE. THEN INSTEAD OF REFUNDING ME THEY DROPPED OFF A MOLDY DAMAGED USED RUG FOR A REPLACEMENT. THEY LEFT THE RUG IN MY DRIVE WAY FOR OVER 2 WEEKS THOUGH THEY PROMISED TO PICK IT UP THE FOLLOWING DAY. BECAUSE WE WHERE MOVING IN TO OUR HOME AND IT BLOCKED OUR WHOLE DRIVEWAY I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY $200 TO DIAPOSE OF IT. IVE CONTACTED EVERYONE I COULD HIGHER UP AMY, WHO HAD THE NERVE TO CALL ME A THIEF, RANDY AND CARL WITH NO RESPONSE. ALL I WANT IS MY MONEY BACK FOR THE RUG I BOUGHT AND NEVER RECIEVED. THIS COMPANY IS ABSOULTLY THE WORSE! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY THEN TREAT YOU LIKE A POS

"Ms. [Member Name Removed] bought an area rug from our clearance, an "as is" area. She paid $217 for a $900 rug. She complained about the rug but promised to remove all her negative reviews if we paid her $400. That is almost double what she paid but we agreed. She also claims she left our rug outside which was destroyed by the weather instead of returning it to us. We are a 60 year old business with thousands of happy customers. Without question this place gave me the worst customer experience of my life.  Immediately after taking my $8k deposit, the sales manger stopped returning any call or message.  They short changed the material for the job and would not respond to my contractor for an additional order to complete the job, we ended up having to order from another supplier.  Then once the hardwoods were installed, the finish started coming off some of the boards and Marion's blamed the blue tape that the installers used (unreal!).   After speaking to the manager he promised to return my calls but never would.  I went to see him in person and he was completely indifferent about my situation after spending over $20k at his store.   I asked for the owners number and he would not give it to me.   Please do yourself a huge favor and don't buy anything from this store, you will deeply regret the entire experience.  This place needs to fire every employee and start over with new ownership.  I've never written a negative review before but this place deserves to go out of business.

We paid the new guy $300 deposit for our carpet and we were told the installer would call us within two days.  We waited 5 days and heard nothing so we called Marion.  The person who answered said we are supposed to call the store to schedule it, that no one actually calls us.  This lost us several days waiting for the carpet.  Within an hour, two different installers call us.  So at first we couldn't get a call, and then we got two different callers.  
The installer arrived two days later.  He said he was 20 days out, so we scheduled for today for 9am.  
It's 10:29am and the installer is still not here.  Marion carpet just said it was because we haven't paid the balance on our carpet.  In other words, we did something wrong again.  We were wrong in the order of selecting the salesperson, we were wrong about the installer calling us, and now we're wrong about the timing of when the balance of the carpet is to be paid.  
I will never use Marion carpet again.

We stopped by their warehouse and received a quote and color sample.  After comparing the color sample other color samples in the house we decided it wasn't quit what we wanted.  We had a sample from another store that we liked and they located it and came back with a better price.  The Armstrong Alterna floor tile was the best installed price that we found.  The independent contractor who installed the carpet and grouted in floor tile did a very good job.  The materials arrived on time and the installation took just slightly longer than estimated.

The shopping experience at Marion's Carpet Warehouse was really good. The sales guy was really helpful. We were trying to get as good as quality as we could for as little money as possible. He was good about pointing out different options. They don't do the installation themselves. They put you in touch with someone to do the installation. We were not impressed with the installers. The quality of the product would be an A.

We’re really happy with the carpet we chose. Someone else did the installation. The sales clerk really knew his business. I explained what I needed the carpet for & he was able to direct me to the type of carpet & padding I'd need. Both the padding & the carpet have very long guarantees as well. They also very reasonably priced.

We went into the store for an estimate and got a good price for a high quality carpet.  The installer, Nick Karagunish and his brother came to complete the installation.  They were punctual, professional, friendly and extremely knowledgable.  I thought that had made a mistake, but they did not and actually came out from another job to ensure me that everything was fine.  I highly recommend requesting these men complete your carpet installation; they were fantastic.

   When we met with the salesperson in early August, we were hightly impressed with the professionalism shown. Spent close to 3 hours learning about material and reviewing samples. Follow-up questions were quickly answered via e-mail.
   Reqiested installation for Aug 22 and 23, but got no reply until a phone call on Aug. 19 saying the installer would be here on Aug. 22, Would have preferred an earlier confirmation of installation date.
   Then due to emergency health problems within his family installer was not able to make it until Aug. 23, and because of other committments, Aug. 26. In this case it was workable; we could live with the change.
   When installer showed up on Aug. 23, he brought out the wrong pad to go under the carpet. Marion's Carpet propmptly rectified the situation. Sales person had written the wrong pad on the order and we didn't realize that since we don't know the technical description; just know the pad when we saw it. We were insistent on a moisture barrier pad.
   Installer was great: very helpful and informative.
   Even with these deviations in the installation process, we would definitely use Marion's Carpets and the installer again.

Our sales rep, Ken, did a great job helping us pick a carpet that would compliment the new paint in our bedrooms, hold up to wear, and have lasting style. He listened to our needs and budget but also made specific recommendations. The installer they sent out, Ed, did a great job putting the new carpet down, but the carpet didn't seem as nice as the one we had picked out. We suspected that they may have cut the wrong one, the right pattern but a grade shorter and not as dense. I took a scrap back to the warehouse the next day to confirm and sure enough it was the wrong one. At this point they had the chance to really make or break this review, but they handled the mistake as best as we could hope. Ken didn't pressure me into just taking a discount on the cheaper carpet but asked what I would like them to do, which was to replace the carpet they put down with the one we ordered. He said he would contact the original installer and have him schedule a time with me. After not hearing from him for several days, I called back and Ken told me that he (Ed) should have contacted me by now, so he called him again to see what the status was. Ultimately, Ed could not do the install that week, so he had another contractor come out to replace it, who did a fine job as well. Overall I would have liked to have had the reinstall happen a little quicker, but besides that they handled their error with grace and integrity.

The sales end of things went very smoothly. However, the install is very poor. They did not come out and measure the job before the install day. I watched them install in the bedrooms, this is was done properly. However, in the hallway, they introduced 2 seams within 5 feet of each other because they utilized a 3 ft x 5 ft piece right in the middle of the hallway. This looks poor. I did not receive a seam pattern before this took place. There is a 1/8" to 1/4" gap at one of the seams. I have called 5 times to try and have this resolved. I have spoken to a manager (Bob) about it has well. His quote was, "We gave you competitive pricing on your job, so we didn't make enough money on your job to justify fixing it." I offered to pay for all new carpet in the hallway (the majority of the expense), but that I would not pay for a new install. They said they would call me back, but never did.

Rick, the sales person, was nice and helped educate us on the various carpet styles and what he thought would be the best fit for us. David, as stated above, was great and helped install the carpet - he took the mis-cut piece away and returned the next evening. However, a manager returned with David and was less than helpful. He didn't say one word to me and seemed irritated that he had to mess with the carpeting. David and I worked at moving furniture and installing the carpet while the manager was all but checking his watch by the front door (he helped briefly, but very little). David even helped me move the furniture back; at this time, the manager was waiting by his car. I was even feeling the pressure for David to hurry. My wife and I were left with the carpet laid in a place that wasn't exactly where we wanted it and we had to move it... that was tough. I figured paying over $1250 for a product, there would be additional help. Again, thank you David for the help! You were great!

I was unsatisfied with their service. As noted, their subcontractor was unreliable and I am told is no longer on their list. However, I did not get good response once I informed Marion's of the problem. And there was no offer to provide a price adjustment to reflect the two month inconvenience of trying to have a small bathroom floor installed. I had a prior experience with Marion's that was so-so, but I tried to use them again because a contractor I know regularly uses them. However, the first time involved carpet and the sales rep misinformed me about whether it would benefit the carpet layer if I were to have the floor trim removed (indicating there was no need for this). The carpet layer indicated he would have liked this. When I went to put in new floor trim, the carpet was a full inch or more from the wall, limiting my choice of floor trim. One mediocre result and one bad result. I won't use them again.

We were in the process of a remodel and were not happy with the store recommendation of the general contractor or an interior decorator we had initial contact with. We decided to do it on our own. I received a flyer from Marion's Carpet Warehouse about an upcoming sale, so gave them a call and was put in contact with salesman David Ball. We set up an appointment for a few days later. David was most gracious & accommodating from the moment of contact and he gave us a real education in carpet during the HOURS he was willing to spend with us. He directed us to the best quality our budget would allow and was also able to help us with style & color coordination, based on some wall paint & cabinet stain colors we brought. He helped us select our porcelain tile and also had great knowledge in that area of expertise. We feel like David is a long lost friend and would highly recommend him and Marion's.

We had a very pleasant experience looking at carpet in the warehouse. Lily was very helpful and informative. Paint swatches matching our walls were provided as was the capacity to look at carpet samples under various light conditions. Ordering was extremely prompt and installation was arranged without problem. We had our carpet installed in a couple of weeks and would definitely recommend Marion's to anyone needing great prices and high quality service!

I can not say enough about my experience with Dan Jaffe the salesman. He went to work on my carpet problem and like their commercial says ''buy carpet today, walk on it tommorrow''. I had a finished professional job the next day. I had gone to a big box store who couldn't even come close to the service, speed of delivery or overall pricing that I got from Marion's. I will be using them again next week for another 3 bedroom install. They have my business.
