Macadam Floor and Design was so easy to work with from the get-go, starting with Rick who helped us pick out engineered hardwood and carpeting. He was great to work with and always returned my calls promptly when I had a question. He also kept us in the loop about every step of the way. The crews that came to lay the hardwood and the fellows who came to put in the carpeted area were top notch. Very efficient, worked well with each other and answered all my questions as they were doing their work. They were very courteous and thoughtful and precise. Caine, who managed the team that came to our home also made a visit as the flooring was going in and answered more questions that I had. This was our first experience having flooring done in our home. They get 5 stars all around as far as we're concerned.

I worked with Olivia at Macadam for my new construction home. She was so great to work with - incredibly knowledgeable and very prepared for our meeting. She provided great opinions and helped me make decisions without feeling like I was being pushed to upgrade or spend more money. The store had a lot of samples and options to help visualize your choices. I am very happy I got to work with Olivia and Macadam, I would highly recommend.

My husband and I are having a new home built, and were referred to Macadam Floor & Design to pick out materials for our desired options. Kylie was our designer, and she was wonderful! She helped us pick out complimentary colors for the entire house including: tile schemes for our mud set shower, quartz countertops for the kitchen with corresponding backsplash tile & grout colors, laminate flooring, and so much more. She was able to pull many different color scheme options & explain how each color combination would most likely appear in our home. She was able to tell us the pros and cons of different materials too. Kylie was very kind, fun yet professional, informative, and easygoing. We didn’t feel rushed nor did we feel like we were being conned into getting upgrades that we didn’t need/want. I will absolutely return here for future projects & highly recommend both Macadam Floor & Design as well as Kylie.

Olivia was a perfect fit for the work we wanted to do to design the complete interior for our new home. She was very well prepared, had a wide array of options available for selection, and made invaluable suggestions on colors, styles, and finishes to meet our goals.

Scott's appointment window was met by Jose who arrived on a very rainy day. Under challenging conditions he negotiated the carpet through a small entrance down some tricky stairs. And kept it dry! The installation was performed with excellent details.

The selection and prices were excellent. I was able to get quality products and stay within my budget. The design specialist, Katie, was awesome. She made what would have been a stressful experience for us very easy and enjoyable. I would definitely go back to Macadam for upgrades in the future.

Macadam Floor and Design did a great job with our kitchen remodel project. They helped with the countertops and backsplash. The work was done professionally, communication with Rick was top notch and we are thrilled with the outcome. We will use them again for future projects.

Kiley was wonderful to work with! She is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The process of selecting finishes for new construction was fun and easy with her. She got to know our style and helped guide us on selecting the best products for our needs and taste. She used her expertise to guide us not only on what worked for the design we wanted, but also how products are used on a daily basis. When there were questions on making a decision between products, Kylie helped guide us to make a decision that was right for us, and we love the choices we made. She has excellent design knowledge and we are so glad we got to work with her. We can't recommend Kylie enough and would love to work with her again!

We worked with Katie Stilwater to replace our carpeting. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable and professional, she was a pleasure to work with and made the process so easy. We will definitely be using Macadam Floor and Design for future projects!

Julia Arms was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning of our interactions. She was super helpful and knowledgeable regarding our flooring questions. Anytime we had a question, she replied very quickly which was very helpful. We had an unfortunate leak incident which called for us to redo our hardwood floors. This was our first remodel experience and Julia made it feel like an easy process. With all the Covid expected delays in our order, the shipment came earlier than projected which was awesome! :) Thank you so much Julia! Looking forward to working with you again in the future! This was the first time my wife and I were able to chose options and upgrades for a new home, Katie made it such a great experience. I would definitely recommend Macadam and especially, Katie!

Scott in particular was a key partner to work with. He helped source and track down all the necessary products for our project. He was great a providing recommendations where we needed them and helping steer us thru the parts we were unsure of.

I cannot say enough good things about Macadam. They worked with us to put vinyl plank down over some deteriorating slate tile in one room and replace the carpet throughout our townhome (lots of stairs). Rick was fantastic working with me upfront to choose the best products within my budget. Then the install teams were just amazing. My husband and I were initially planning to install the vinyl ourselves, but I am SO GLAD we had them do it instead. What would probably have taken us multiple weekends, buying new tools, etc., took these guys a total of 4 hours. The cost was super affordable and included moving all the heavy furniture in and out of the room. The result is fantastic. I love it so much. Easy to clean, much more comfortable than tile to walk on, and lots of compliments! Where they went above and beyond was during the carpet install. Our home had severe water intrusion issues a few years back, which we thought had a previous contractor had fully repaired. When the carpet install team ripped up the carpet, they found multiple places with black mold or dry rot. The install team stopped what they were doing, had my husband and I take a look, and provided exceptional support talking through the options of what to do. We ended up having them stop the install and having our previous contractor come out and fix the areas. As soon as the water intrusion contractor completed the repair, the team at Macadam went out of their way to get a team back in to do the carpet install asap. I couldn’t believe how communicative, professional, and kind both install teams were throughout the process. Thank you, Macadam Flooring. We love our new floors!

Olivia and Katie helped us with the design options for our new home build and they were AMAZING!! First, Olivia was very responsive to emails before hand and helping us prepare for the design center meeting. When we showed up, both Katie and Olivia had reviewed our inspiration materials and had a clear idea of what we were looking for and what was of value to us as we went through our decisions. They helped guide is to affordable options when appropriate but also were able to provide insight into where there was value in modifying our decisions. Our experience with them was fantastic and honestly couldn't have been any better. They rock!!

We had old carpeting that we needed replaced in our house. We went to Macadam Floor and Design after reading multiple positive reviews. Rick provided us with some excellent options all for a very reasonable price. The installation was flawless; the team moved the furniture (and our piano) with no dings. The carpet looks amazing. So soft! We haven't seen any errors in how the carpet was placed. They did a fantastic job and would highly recommend them. We'll most likely reach out to them when we have to update our countertops!

Great experience from start to finish with Macadam Floor and Design. Highly recommend. Very friendly staff, ease of picking out my product, quick scheduling, and floor installers were young...but very sweet and did a great job installing my carpet and LVP. Also, they are fairly priced!

Rick Correa was wonderful to work with. He made this experience a 5 star experience for sure. We needed to replace our countertops, backsplash and carpet upstairs and were frankly overwhelmed at the prospect. I got in touch with Rick over the website, he contacted me via phone, and after a quick call to discuss overall plans we made an appt for the showroom. When we got to the showroom he had samples lined out, based on our initial discussion, and they were exactly what we we were looking for, and in our price point. It was SO easy. We walked out in 45 mins ready to get moving! Our kitchen and carpet look amazing. The contractors were great! I’ve already recommended Macadam to friends and family, and will use them for new window coverings next.

When I wanted to replace badly worn kitchen countertops in my 1940 home with something vintage, (namely retro-style formica with fluted metal edging), I ran into somewhat of a stumbling block. I was having difficulty finding the materials locally and also realized that installation of formica had become somewhat a “lost art”. My contractor and I worked on sources for the materials and were extremely fortunate to find Macadam Floor and Design to make the project a reality. The initial visit with Scott, the Project Manager and Artem, the installer left me feeling confident that I had found the correct company for my install. Julia was a huge help from start to finish, in fact it was great to be able to work with the same person through the entire process. She was patient, knowledgeable and actually listened to what I wanted rather than trying to push me towards a specific product that I didn't really need. Thank you!

We had a mixed experience with Macadam. Our salesperson was very helpful and professional throughout the process. Immediately following the installation of luxury vinyl plank in our basement and on the stairs, we noticed several places where it appeared the installers had run out of material and chosen to leave things unfinished. Someone from the company came out to see the work and agreed with our concerns. It took nearly five weeks due to scheduling issues and the need to order more material, but the installers did eventually return and make the necessary repairs. The flooring looks good. There were some additional charges for leveling our floor, but the salesperson communicated those to us during the process. More professional communication from the installers would have left us feeling much better about the experience.

We went in to Macadam Floors and were excited to see their large selection of flooding. We were getting overwhelmed by all the selections until Rick came to help us. He helped us pick a good quality but reasonable carpet (and pad, we learned pads are as important), and engineered hardwood for the kitchen. He was friendly, knowledge, and a no nonsense kind guy. He was prompt to follow up. He followed our process from beginning to end, which was appreciated. We were not home for the installation days, but we love our new flooring!

My experience with Macadam Floor and Design was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to the help of Jake and his team! From beginning to end the service was excellent on a rather difficult application. We installed over 3,000 square feet of LVP flooring on two stories in a floating home on the Willamette River, much of which needed leveling before install. I was kept informed throughout the entire process and the install went seamlessly with the expertise of Oleg and his crew. I could not be more pleased with the final result and would recommend, without reservation, Macadam Floor and Design to anyone considering new flooring. You won’t be disappointed......
