LOWE'S

The work done was very good. The workers were friendly. There were a few missed spots that never got done, but I also didn’t put tape on them to point them out, so it was at least partly my fault. My main complaint was with the office’s delay in contacting me when the job took longer than they’d initially thought it would take.

I gave them a B because of the price. I would use them again in future.

I thought their prices were competitive. Everything was very organized and I am very pleased with the quality of work Lowe's provided.

I did have some good service form Lowe's. The man was very helpful but I don't know his name. The customer service was really good. He got something down from the upper shelves and had to move a bunch of stuff just so I could get what I wanted. Their prices was good.

It was pretty good. I did have to travel to get to the Lowes. I do not find them anything different then other Big Box stores. While the card helped me save some money I was able to save some money on another local store for bungee cords also. I do not like Lowes since that are a national not local company. I am willing to spend more money by going to a local store. They are just like every other large big box store.

On July 29 Purchased a Garage Door Opener and ordered a Garage Door through Lowes. Store employees were very helpful, thorough, made good recommendations, etc., and very efficient. I came to the store prepared to complete a long string of paperwork over the course of hours . . . not so. I was in and out of the store within 30 minutes. The sales member loaded the door opener into my car and told me to be prepared for the installers to contact me about scheduling the delivery of my door subsequent system installation.
The installers called within a few days and just a week later came to my home and and installed both items after removing the old system/door, which they hauled away at no extra cost. The entire process was completed in about 3 hours and everything was left neat and tidy.
Wow . . . I love my new opener with it's whisper quiet, belt driven motor . . . and the exterior keypad . . . and the warning system to notify me when the garage door is open! Whether I am at home or away! Technology is a great thing. But, more than the fantastic quality of the products, I want to commend Lowes sales and installation team members. You Rock! The entire process was handled professionally and efficiently. No hassles . . . No problems.
I love Lowes . . . No hassle sales, professional installation . . . sure beats all other options.

I went to them because I was looking for more tile samples. The experience was okay, and not stellar - I don t think I was trampled down to be helped. The gentleman at the appliance section was being as helpful as he could, but at the tile and at the lighting sections, I don t think anyone offered to help me.

They guy came out very promptly and installed it quickly.

Took some time to get estimate due to sub-contractors schedule. Estimate was high but selected this firm because I was not able to supervise and observe job in person and wanted to go with a firm that would stand behind the work. Work was slow to start and materials were left at job site for some time - this is a rental house and the tenant called me concerned that materials could walk away since they were just left along side the street. Installation was satisfactory with one exception - the gate latch was installed such that you had to reach over the gate when exiting from the yard; the tenant is short and couldn't get out. Called Lowes and asked to have sub-contractor take care of this - took too long to fix this problem.

This was a special order vanity top and therefore ended up costing a lot more than seemed practical or what had been quoted before. But since we were well into the overall job, it would have been a further delay and added expense to go to an alternate source.

It went great, and the store person didn't charge me for the re-keying. He was very nice. I believe his name was Mike.

Great. I took home samples on the last day of promotion. They said they would honor. Soon, a different carpet promotion. They worked up both prices and gave me the best promotion. Prompt service in store, and timely updates of progress by phone. Good quality for price, but ease and reliability is what sold me.

Lowes had their installer come out to install a second patio door. The first one was installed improperly. This time the patio door was installed within a reasonable amount of time. However, when the company cut the 2x1's to put around the outside of the patio door they cut the wrong side. The rough side showing rather than the smooth side. Lowes was to come and take away the first patio door that was installed improperly, and as of this writing it is still here. Lowes had assured us that they would have it out of here by the end of last week, as it is it still sits against my garage. I will once again have to call them and ask them to come and finish their job!!

We paid 35.00 for the detail fee on 7-31-06. We then ordered and paid in full our Patio Door on 8-7-06. They had their installer(West Linn Carpentry and Tile) come out and measure our existing patio door. I never received a call from their installer or Lowes. On 8-21-06 I called the installer to ask when they planed to install. They were off on vacation until Sept.3 2006. Lowes informed me they would call Cutting Edge Exteriors,Inc. They came out at 2:00pm on 8-25-06 and did not leave until past 6pm. They had to cut 1/4'' from both sides of door frame and 1/2''-1/4'' off my sub-flooring. Rolled back carpet. The measurement was wrong! The door is a inch shorter so they covered the top of inside the door with 1/4''inch round to hide the difference. Then nail gunned my carpeting to the floor. This is unacceptable work!! I AM TIRED OF LOUSY SERVICE!!! The door is off and doesn't shut properly and the screen sticks.

LOWES CAME LATE, BUT STILL DID THE INSTILLATION JOB VERY WELL. THEY ALSO PIECED THE CARPET TOGETHER IN THE BEGINNING SO WE WOULDN'T HAVE TO BUY AS MUCH AND THERE WAS LESS WASTE.
