Charged $246.77 for one replaced hardwired smoke detector. 2 hours of labor at $100 an hour. To turn off the breaker, disconnect the old unit, plug in a new one, and mount it back on the ceiling. After receiving the invoice, I called once and left a voicemail. Didn't hear back. After a few days, I called again and left a voicemail and also sent an email. Took a few more days and he returned my call. Said it is his minimum because otherwise he'd be driving all around town. Even if he added in his drivetime, the work to replace 1 unit and drivetime doesn't justify that outrageous price. Would never work with him again or suggest him to any friends.

Leo is truly a Handy Man. Started with closet door repair, moved to replacing closet doors and finishing with panting garage interior including some sheetrock work. Likely because Leo is in high demand, the job is being finished longer than expected. Very dependable.
