He explained very clearly what he was testing for and where. He asked if there were specific spots I wanted tested. He explained clearly how the charges worked. There is a base price for so many "shots" and then you pay per shot after that. I went significantly over the base number of shots, but he told me when we were close to the base total and that I was about to go over. It was totally my own choice. He told me the readings as we went along, and promised a written report in a few weeks. I have not yet gotten the written report, because he only did testing a few days ago, but I have every confidence it will be complete and useful. I had the house tested because I am going to rent it to people with small children, and plan to sell the house in the not too distant future. The incoming tenants asked me to test the house, and it will be good to have the certified results for any potential buyers. This is to not only protect the window installers from possible lead poisoning but also to protect the environment when the old painted windows are pulled out.
