Shawn was very responsive in providing a quote and scheduling the work.  He was able to start the project in a week after providing the quote.  The time was supposed to be 2 weeks for completion but ended up being 4 weeks due to the weather turning cold and rainy.  Project turned out real good in the end with a great looking fireplace and patio.  Only thing on quality I have an issue with is that the flagstone is not as even/flat as the existing patio stone that it was extended from, but that could be partially the stone that I purchased to use were not as consistently flat.
One thing I will say Shawn is very fair and does not try to up charge for every little item that changes during the project.  Originally I did not have a full length hearth across the front of the fireplace and he added it for the cost of materials only.

We were really impressed with Shawn Ladd. He was professional, on time, worked over time to get the job done and he quoted us a great price. Our house has a totally new look that is absolutely beautiful.

Shawn did an excellent job.  He dug and laid the foundation, built the block wall, and then faced the wall with stone.  He is a true artist.  Each piece of stone was hand chiseled to make it fit.  The final product is beautiful.  He always came on time and cleaned up as he went.  Very good stone mason.
