My experience in 2008 went very well.  The job was on time and within budget.  Kerry Becker Concrete ended up having to do extra work on moving the dirt in prep for the concrete patio and they still remained on schedule.  They are always professional and polite.  You can tell they enjoy their work and they are a good 'team'.  I am happy I get to use them again for my front porch.

Excellent! Both Kerry and Eli did a terrific job from start to finish. Our job was particularly tricky because we were replacing a deteriorating wood crawlspace-height foundation wall with a new full-height concrete foundation. The room is attached to the house and could not be lifted. Instead, we had to support the structure with posts and a a beam and Kerry carefully excavated around the supports. Kerry was also instrumental in engineering the the temporary structure and the difficult pour though the floor and into the forms. In addition, Kerry and Eli excavated and poured a full-height foundation wall for an addition as well as exterior entry stairs. I couldn't be happier with the work or the process. We passed eight inspections without a hitch. These guys can do it all- excavation, foundation work and flatwork. I requested a sand finish on the flat work, which is a bit more difficult, but it turned out great. I recommend this company highly. They are thoughtful, punctual, and work not only hard, but intelligently.

Kerry's crew started the job on time and kept me informed of the steps and planned completion date. They did an excellent job and offered to do the whole job in exposed aggregate for the original price.

   Kerry was out of town for a week when I called for a bid but we set up a time and he arrived as promised. Our driveway  had challenges including a slope towards the garage and  a curve to accommodate pavers. I could tell right away he was concerned we wouldn't get any water in the garage when he was done. He gave us two options for a drain and went with the one he recommended.
   They arrived when promised and began removal of the sidewalk, excavating gravel and setting forms for the new driveway. The curve was placed exactly as we wanted it. On the day of the pour the crew arrived as promised and it went very well as it is a long driveway and they finished it all in one day. They came back the next morning to remove the forms and cut lines in the concrete even though he had a wedding to attend that afternoon
    Overall, our experience was great. Kerry takes great pride in his work and you get the feeling he is working on his own house. The driveway turned out better than we envisioned, and we already have had many complements from neighbors, friends, and family. They did a very good job. They were timely, very prompt, very professional and had a good quality of work. There work depended on work done prior to that were very flexible and willing to work with the condiminiums needs, even though they werent able to get the work done like originally planned.

Overall, it turned out well. They performed the work and did a good job.

The craftsman from Kerry Becker Concrete were puncutal, professional and personable. They were everything one could want in a concrete company. This was one of the few companies we could find that do foundations as well as flat work and really knew what they were doing.

Kerry delivered the ultimate customer experience to us. All aspects of the project were executed in a highly professional manner from the submission of bid to project closeout. Kerry is extremely knowledgeable and takes great pride in delivering a high quality product and went over and above to make sure we were 100% satisfied. Everyone from the neighborhood who walks by oohs and aahs about the work and asked for Kerry's name. It was truly a pleasure to work with Kerry and his crew (Mike and Eli). Our original intention was to replace the concrete floor of our patio. However, Terry thought that the patio's concrete still looked pretty good and perhaps just cleaning it up and the driveway would be the best treatment. After the first coat was applied, Terry look it over and felt that more sealer should be applied. There was no added cost. We were pleased with the result and would hire him again.

Kerry and his crew are very knowledgeable, intuitive, skilled and hard-working. Each phase was done effectively and on schedule. They followed the plans and problem-solved efficiently. All phases with the inspector were flawless. Highly recommended!

I spent a couple of thousands or maybe less. They were very prompt and did a wonderful job.

The job entailed placing six large concrete foundation footings on a very steep hillside in Portland's Kings Heights neighborhood. Access was difficult and required accuracy to make sure the subsequent steel framework would be properly aligned. Kerry did a beautiul job and the survey confirmed that his placement was spot on.

Kerry gave us an estimate for the work very similar to other estimates - but I felt he had a better sense of exactly what needed to be done and how to coordinate around the tree removal we were going to do at the same time. His crew removed the old concrete. We had someone else remove the tree and grind the stump. Then Kerry came back and leveled the ground and poured the new sidewalk. They were quite speedy, did exactly what they said they would and cleaned up carefully afterwards. They also repaired a crack in the front steps that I had asked to have fixed. The sidewalk looks great.

Kerry came out the day after I asked him to bid the job and was able to give me an estimate on the spot. $775 - the final bill even came in at $775. He asked great clarifying questions about the work we wanted done, and made exactly what we had described. I had this job bid out by several other groups and the cost was upwards of $2000, which seemed excessive. His crew was in and out in one day and they did a nice job of clean-up. Kerry and Eli did a great, great job from start to finish. I received their bid (which was lower than the other two I received, and for more work!) on Tuesday, they took out the old walkway sections on Wednesday and built the frames for the new walkway, on Thursday the new concrete was poured, on Friday they acid washed both the new and old sections to make them look equally new, and on Saturday they sealed the new and old surfaces. Reliable, honest, very hard working professionals. I would use them again in a minute.

I was very impressed with Kerry. He has an eye for detail and is focused on ensuring customer satisfaction. A couple of times he even challenged me to consider new options to make sure the driveway looked great. For instance, we had an old tree stump on one side and he offered to take it out and pave over it for no extra charge (this portion was not part of the initial estimate). Kerry's price was reasonable and the finished product looks great. I would highly recommend Kerry.

Very efficient execution through all the steps of the procedure. Also a real concern for safety--taping off the work area till the project was completed. The final product--new walkway and steps--look great!

It went very well. Kerry was careful to lay out the replacement stairway landing in order to improve clearances, maintain consistency in the stair sequence, reinforce the existing masonry as needed, and meet the targeted floor level. The drain system he installed was also well-thought-out and seems to be working quite well.

Kerry and his crew did great. They got the work done as quickly as possible working around intermittent rain storms and unexpectedly having to add gravel as fill.

The professional service and quality workmanship is above my expectations! I consider myself a tough customer to please and I am pleased to recommend Kerry Becker to anyone needing concrete work!

Kerry Becker was the utmost in professionalism. He oversaw the project daily, and his employees were equally as professional. They cleaned up daily and everything went as scheduled. The final product was even better than I had hoped. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing sidewalks, driveways, or a new concrete pad for a garage or addition. They're the best.
