John Slezak Tile Work

This is the second time we've used John. He installed tile in our bathroom about 3 years ago. He did an outstanding job on the bathroom - completely tiled the shower (ceiling, walls and floor) and the bathroom walls (about half way up the wall) and the bathroom floor. The ceiling in the shower is sloped and he took great care to make sure all the grout lines were perfectly aligned - despite the complicated angles. For this job, we picked out the tile we wanted and then he came out and gave us an estimate for the installation. We paid the contractor rate for the tile, which he picked up for us. He started the job a few weeks later. He was involved in a very complicated bathroom remodel that took longer than he thought it would (through no fault of his), so he had to delay our start. However, he was very honest with us about the delays and called us to let us know what was going on. He also offered to pass the job to another tile guy if we didn't want to wait. We love John - trust him in our house when we are not here - and because he did such a wonderful job on our bathroom, we wanted him to do the entry. The tile job turned out beautiful. Our house was built in 1920 and nothing is square or plumb. He is able to work with all these issues and the tile is perfect.
