Great! Jeff did a great installation of a roll up garage door and side mount opener. His price was below others. He was punctual and completed the job in the time frame he had quoted. You can't go wrong with Jeff Stewart.

Jeff is a pleasure to work with. Discussed the options, pros and cons and made me feel I was making the right decision. I'm thrilled to have a working garage door again!! He came close to when he said he would and kept me apprised of any delays. He cleaned everything up after he was done. Good job!

He replaced the garage door springs.

He was professional, showed up when he said he would, and did a very nice job. He had to make a custom addition to the door because of an uneven slope in the concrete entry to the garage.  I recommended him to my sister who also needed a new garage door. Jeff was easy to work with.

I called on a Saturday and he came that afternoon.  My garage door/opener was misbehaving and not closing fully.  He came out and looked.  He recommended replacing rollers and thinking about a new garage door, explaining each option well.  He replaced all of the rollers and tested that it worked.  Time will tell if it stays repaired, but I have every reason to think so.  He clearly knew what he was doing.

Called Jeff at around 5:45. He was at my place by 6:40 and had the door working within 10-15 minutes. Impressed with his response time and professionalism. 

Sometime last January I wasn't able to get my electric garage door open. Jeff answered the phone himself, and he was at my house within an hour. He diagnosed the problem, replaced the broken spring, and performed some triage on the aging door. He was prompt, professional, and super knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this provider.

Jeff is a one man business and is the kind of person I like to deal with. I called him to ask him to look into a problem with a garage door at my rental property and he was available to come by the same afternoon. It was a simple fix caused by parts of the system becoming mis-aligned over the years. He charged me $75 for the service call and I was a happy customer.

By the time I contacted Jeff, I had had three previous flakey installers either bid and not follow up or simply miss their initial appointment.  Jeff went out of his way to accommodate my schedule and was friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive.  My install was a bit more complex than usual, as one door had a low header built into the original frame that had to be removed, and both openings required new headers to be built for the low clearance beneath the joists overhead.  
I don't know how, but Jeff did both of the doors by himself in under a day and a half.  When he wasn't able to finish on the first day, he came out the next, which was a Saturday.  He also made another trip to install an exterior release/lock for the garage that had no other ingress/egress, and didn't charge me extra for it even though it wasn't on the bid.  
Jeff was accessible both by phone and email, which is important to me since I'm not always able to answer my phone, and I rely on email for a lot of my communication.  I felt that Jeff gave very personalized service, which is increasingly rare these days.  Also, I ask a lot of questions; Jeff answered these with grace.  
On top of all that, his bid was by far the most reasonable.  Though I'm no expert, Jeff sources his materials from reputable manufactures that other large installers like Overhead Door also source from, and I made sure as best I could to compare apples to apples, in terms of quality of materials, during my selection process.  
If you ever need a replacement remote control, they cost around $35 directly from Jeff, which seems completely reasonable.  My installation included only one remote per opener, so if you want more than one, you may want to specify that for the bid.  
I'd highly recommend Jeff, and I'll definitely continue to work with him whenever I need anything garage-related.  If you read any of my other reviews, you'll see that I'm fairly particular and don't award A's unless truly deserved.
Only caveat, if you are a very linear person, is that Jeff has a bit more fluid perception of time than some others.  He is a one man shop and seems to prefer to work within time "windows" rather than starting at very specific times.  I have the luxury of being home most days, so this didn't bother me too much.  But if you need very specific start and end times, this is something I'd mention to him during scheduling.

I called Jeff and he was able to come within a couple days. He was so nice and gave me the worse case scenario if he couldn't find the part he needed. My garage door opener is a discontinued model. He was able to find a part that would work. He was able to come back the next day and fix my door opener. Explained what he did so that I could understand. He also greased it and showed me how to do it myself. I would call Jeff again in a heart beat.

Jeff was able to get us scheduled fairly quickly, showed up on time and was very pleasant to do business with.  He gave us a mini-education on our garage door openers, installed a new keypad and also recommended we change the frequency for the touch-pad openers since we just purchased this house.  We had not thought of that and really appreciated that piece of advise.  Our garage doors are much quieter now and everything is working great.  I will call Jeff in the future for any garage door issues we may have and he gets my solid recommendation- thanks Jeff!

Jeff worked us into his schedule when our garage door was failing to close properly.  He diagnosed the problem, recommended just replacing the rollers and adding a rubber seal at the bottom. He ordered the parts and had it all done in a week.  I really appreciated the fact that he didn't try to provide or suggest repairs we didn't need.  When the time comes to replace the opener, Jeff will be my first call.

One of the most important things to me is punctuality by a contractor.  Jeff showed up a few minutes early on both visits.  I really appreciated that.  I had a broken spring which Jeff replaced on the first visit.  He did the work quickly and without error.  I had him come back a few days later to install a new opener.  I was not home during this visit but my wife tells me all went well.  I would not hesitate to hire Jeff Stewart again.

One of the cables on my garage door broke Sunday afternoon.  On Monday I searched Angie's list for a garage door service. I found Jeff Stewart listed with an address near my home. I called him at 9:30 AM and he arrived at my house within the hour as promised. After determining what he needed, he procured the proper cable and had my door back in perfect operating order by 11:30.

Fair price for excellent work.

Jeff was great to work with. He answered his phone promptly and came by the next day for an estimate. He also discussed options including fixing our door versus replacing it and he did not push us to go with the more expensive option. His estimate for replacing the door was very reasonable and we decided to go this route. Two days later, Jeff came by and completed the job. We were very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work. Jeff was friendly and professional. We would definitely use his services again.

Most recently I needed to replace a two-car garage door on a rental property. After several contacts with other companies I again chose Jeff for all of the reasons I had on the first job, except this time I had personally experienced his work. He gave me a bid which was less than all of the other ones I spoke with. He drove at least 90 miles round-trip. Installed the door including some extra work to add a rubber trim along the cement floor at the point where the bottom of the garage door met the floor. I had had leaking problems with the old door. I provided the rubber stripping his charge was nominal for the extra work. I did not realize that if an automatic opener was not to be used there were no door handles for raising and lowering included. After installation and he was gone I became aware of this. I called him and told him I needed door handles. He set a date for the following week, made the round trip again, installed quality handles all at no additional charge. It seems to me this must be what the customer gets when they take the time to select a professional such as Jeff.

It was great. His prices are reasonable. I have used him before. He is professional and does a good job.
