We've used Jim and his brother Rob twice now for interior painting - on the house we sold and the house we bought. Fair price, great work, punctual and trustworthy.

Responded quickly, gave a fair price and showed up on time for the slated job. He completed the job with professional results, and charged me what he quoted, as well as completed the job when said he would. They cleaned up when done and even moved furniture back in place with the comment "Just point , and we'll move it " and did. Thank you for your workmanship and courtesy, Such a Great job!

Jim, and his brother Rob, were great. They were the lowest bid, but the quality of their work as excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and capable. I am a perfectionist and can be hard to please. They listened to my concerns and priorities and took great care to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the work. Highly recommended.

Homan Painting is a two-man operation. Jim and his brother gave us a reasonable bid and so we hired them. They were professional and reliable. They prepped the house by power washing and doing some scraping. They don't scrape old paint as much as other companies I have seen a worked with. Instead they scrape some and then use a product that adheres to the old paint and walls and is supposed to keep the new paint from flaking off. Fingers crossed this will work. It took about 10 days from start to finish. They did a good job and were pleasant to work with.

Everything right on schedule. The finished job looks great! We are very happy with his services and would hire in the future.

Our old house had so many layers of paint that it needed a lot more prep work than we had realized. Peeling paint on the body of the house was obvious but the fancy turned posts on the porch had so much paint on them that we couldn't really see the pattern until they stripped all the paint off. We felt that they went way beyond what we had expected and are so happy with the results. They are meticulous painters, they're punctual and they took great care in cleaning up the work site every day. 'A's' for everything but there should be another box to check off labeled 'patience'. In spite of indecision and lots of questions on our part, they remained cheerful and upbeat. Our house looks great now and we would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Jim and his brother did a great job! They were professional, creative and extremely knowledgeable. Our house and shed had minor dry rot and Jim did a very good job repairing and enhancing the appearance of the work. Very pleased on how he addressed these areas. Great job of caulking everything. Excellent job and excellent price. I would definitely recommend them.

wonderful experience! they were polite and friendly and informative. they did great work and were always a pleasure when at my home. they kept me advised of what they were doing and when they would be doing it, (even let me know when they left for lunch and when to expect them back. they cleaned up after themselves every day before leaving and were even helpful to my mother who lives with me. and honest to a fault!...i payed in cash and after i handed him his money, it turned out i had over payed and he returned the extra cash to me. i cant speak highly enough for his service and will gladly recommend him to others!

Seriously, the brothers are just wonderful! I took the time to interview several contractors to paint my little 850 sq ft bungalow. Each bid was thousands of dollars higher. I like to work with family owned companies when I can, and I'm so glad I picked Jim. They were prompt, friendly and very efficient. They did a wonderful job. They even took the time and effort to paint my garage door hinges black. It's the little extras that count.

Our house is about 2000 sq. ft. Jim and his brother did the painting and they did a great job. The first day they were put off because it was too snowy to get to the house. However they got chains and were here at 8:00AM the next morning! They were polite, friendly and most importantly good painters. Jim gave great suggestions as my painting knowledge is quite limited. He even came back on Saturday to finish so we could move the furniture back. He was easy to work with and cared about his work. I would recommend them to my friends.

Jim and his brother did an excellent job! They were professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable and their experience was greatly appreciated. I have an old (1915) home that had a mediocre painting about 9 years prior, so there was a lot of prep work that needed to be done prior to the application of paint, and we had a couple of mini-heatwaves to deal with during the job. Not only did they do a great job with the painting, Jim also made a couple of repairs and fixes to the porch, trim, and other areas. I also liked their artistic touches:) I highly recommend him, and will definitely hire him again when its time to repaint!

These guys did an impressive job in so many ways. They were very tidy as they moved from section to section, they worked around staff who were simultaneously using the building, and they did a flawless job on the painting. They responded right away when we called for a bidding appointment and managed to get us on their schedule two weeks later despite their busy summer. Because they worked long hours each day, they were able to finish the job in just three days which allowed us to stay on schedule with cleaners and other maintenance goals we had for the building. And the whole time they were friendly, polite, and accommodating. They were a pleasure to work with, highly professional, and they did the best paint job we have ever had in the building. We would recommend them enthusiastically to anyone.

Mr. Homan did a fantastic job, and left my house looking refreshed and clean. He was able to work with my schedule, and fit me in quickly. He did the work in the time promised, and was always quick to answer when I contacted him. He had great communication in keeping me updated on progress, and I'm very happy with the end result.

Went well, would hire again. They made some suggestions that helped with our goals. Fast and well done.

We were really fortunate to find Jim for this paint job. He was so flexible and helpful. We had delays with another contractor, and Jim was able to work around that and came back afterwards to complete the needed areas. He also coordinated with the flooring contractor and picked up and painted the baseboards. We added on some things, and he charged us nothing or the bare minimum to do it. The work performed was top notch. His paint bid was also a very good price. It was a pleasure to work with him, and I highly recommend him. Will hire again.

They did a great job, picking up the paint we had requested, providing all supplies, and cleaning up so we couldn't tell they had been there except that the walls were now the right colors. :) There were one or two spots that we needed to retouch but they weren't visible til the paint had dried, so not anything that James could have corrected in the few hours of time they had in the house. We'd definitely hire them again!

Jim responded to my request for a bid to patch a crack and retexture a ceiling, within 2 days. He arrived exactly at the scheduled time to look at the job, and promptly emailed an itemized bid, which included a new client discount. He estimated that it would take three days, and agreed that they would be consecutive days. He arrived on time each day, and actually finished ahead of schedule. The finished ceiling looks great. I'm very happy and have already recommended Jim to a friend.

James was great. Work was scheduled and completed quickly. They did an excellent job.

I was the difficult one in this transaction. After I put the project off for a year, he still honored the original bid and didn't go over, which was fantastic! He was very thorough repairing the wood rot and sealing up the cracks to prevent any more wood rot. Finally, to top it all off, the paint job looks fantastic! A+++

Process went smoothly, quickly, conveniently.  Homan was responsive and economical at a time when painters were busy and spendy, especially for a small job but one including high work (40-ft ladder used).  We will certainly consider Homan when the whole house exterior needs painting in 2-4 years.

He did an excellent job. We are very pleased with the outcome and the whole experience working with him.

Very prompted return of my email. Came for an estimate two days later on time. Very professional but still personable and his partner. They had had a cancel and time was available in two days. I scheduled same for 9 am start. Jim was my third bid and was the lowest by far. One by 2/3'ds !!! Arrived on time and completed as fast and beautiful looking job. Jim presented the written bill to me and it was for $100 less then the bid......told me that it went a lot faster then he had planned !!  Am referring him to my friend with same paint issue for a bid for sure.  Thanks,   Mike

Contractor did great.  Job was not the easiest with extensive siding repair and working with tenants.  Mr. Homan was exceeding professional and accommodating.
