J. P. Did the estimate himself with it coming in 25% less than the others with a 3 day estimate instead of a week like thhe others. He came to me highly recommended by someone who had used him many times so I hired him on the spot and come Monday morning his crew was all there waiting for him when he arrived right on time. Each day he was here at least once checking on the work. When they were done I watched him and his foreman walk around the house searching for scraps or dropped screws carefully. He helped me get a gutter guy whose estimate was 40% lower than others. The crew are pros and very respectful of their boss, J p and also of me. Cant recommend them enough!

Old shingles were removed down to the plywood, with new shingles installed.  The roofers did a great job in a reasonable amount of time and cleaned up the site well.  Unfortunately a gutter was dented in the process, however, JP took care of the replacement.  I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent work by JP Crooks Inc. 6 business days from first phone call to completed work. After JP's crew came out to inspect the home, JP personally delivered the bid (Friday afternoon). Work started the following Monday morning and completed on Thursday morning. This included a half day on Monday due to terrible weather. The crew was excellent, very nice, and worked hard all day. JP stopped by 3 times during the process, which I really liked, as he kept me up to date on the process and finishing time. I was extremely satisfied with the work and I'll happily use/refer them again: Price was good, worked fast, and it looks great.

Although JP was the low bidder, he did very fine work. The previous roof had been installed by the and quot;big nameand quot; roofing company in Hillsboro. I wasn't aware of how poor a job the previous roofer had done until JP's crew started to replace the roof. The previous roofer had installed no metal flashing around the eves. JP's crew installed metal flashing everywhere. The previous roofer had installed less expensive and quot;California weaveand quot; valleys; JP's crew installed metal valleys. JP's crew started the job, and finished the job, on time and on budget. JP visited the site every day and his foreman was attentive to my questions. Clean-up after the job was careful and thorough.

The crew worked hard and was done in two days, way quicker than we expected. They did a great cleanup job too!

Excellent! JP's bid was well under all other bids. Because he came highly recommended and received positive reviews on Angie's List, I had tremendous trust. Plus, JP was helpful, insightful, and just plain easy to get along with. His guys were quick and efficient -- tear off and new roof in a little over two days. Very impressive work. The men were quite respectful and pleasant, too.

Flashing was not properly installed created hidden leaks that resulted in rot. Chimney's, skylights and different roof levels not sealed properly. I contacted the owner of the company and told him about a leaky skylight in 2003 and was told he will send his guys out to look at it but that never happened. The work that was performed was poor quality. I am now paying the price for something that I thought was up to code.

Dropped sample shingles off at my home several days in advance of beginning date, and started and finished work as scheduled, service was friendly and professional.

Joe and his crew were punctual and friendly. The job took a day longer than expected and they worked long days to keep on schedule because they underestimated the complexity of the roof with its many angles. In the end they did a first rate job at a very reasonable price compared to other bids.

The experience was excellent with JP Roofing. They got to the job quickly and they got it done in the time frame that they said they would. They cleaned up. We had some unforeseen issues with the chimney that we were able to resolve and he was more than fair with that.

J.P. Roofing did a great job for a very fair price. Their price was $11,900, when we had at least 5 other quotes ranging from $13,900 up to about $25K. I gave them a list of extra items I wanted done and they did them all for approx $250 extra. They worked very hard, stayed on schedule, and cleaned up afterward each day. The finished product looks very nice. Two months later when the rain came, we had a leak (which actually turned out to be wind driven rain coming through the wall, not the roof). When I called Joe he was serious about getting his guys out there to replace some flashing and find the root cause. He is obviously very conscious of keeping a good business relationship with his clients. Overall we were very satisfied with the job.
