I really cannot express how grateful I am for these guys.  They helped me turn a pizza oven in our kitchen into a show stopper based on pictures my wife & I pulled of the internet.  They spent countless hours making sure the install was as good as it could be and that we were happy in the end.
Highly reccomend these guys.

Once I had decided on a design, I was able to talk to Guillermo many times to get it just right and for a price we could afford. He was very accessible and very easy to work with. We are planning another gate for the back and will definitely call him.

Guillermo came to my house about three days after I emailed him. He brought by books for me to choose what kind of railings I wanted. After about a week I just could not find what I was looking for, so he told me to design what I would like and he would make it for me.
I came up with curved and straight pillars and for the gate a very special three heart design. It took me about two weeks to get it just right. Guillermo stopped by and picked up my ideas and we sent pictures on email of any changes, or questions I had about anything, I could give him a call.
It took a while to get the railings up, but only because of Ice and Extreme Cold weather.
Guillermo got the railings up about two weeks before the gate. I was so excited when I got the call they were on their way over with the gate, It's BEAUTIFUL just what I had drawn. I could not have asked for more.
Thank You so Much, I'm getting lots of compliment's. If you need some Iron Work done, Give Iron Art of the Northwest a call or Email. He will respond.

Began the search by contacting 4 contractors I found on Angies List by email. One never responded, one responded a week later, and the other 2 were prompt in their responses. Because I didn't have a design in mind it took a few emails to solidify a quote from both. Guillermo not only had a design I preferred but he also had a somewhat lower estimate. He came out to my house and took measurements and gave me a firm quote. I felt confident at that time that he was a good choice.
We continued to communicate via email, he would send me detailed designs, I would make a change or two, and finally he sent me back the finished photo. We agreed on a time for installation and he arrived with his crew and finished the job.
While I have to admit that Guillermo's English isn't perfect the language barrier didn't turn out to be problematic at all. And his crew spoke perfect English.
I'm very satisfied with the balcony and would hire Guillermo again!

This is a tough one. I really liked Guillermo and he did an excellent job on the porch. He responded quickly to our request for an estimate and had some good ideas for us. We stressed that we were on a budget and that we did not want to go over $1,000 for the job and he gave us an estimate for around $900.00 which we were thrilled with. In tearing apart the railing, we had to take off the very old, unattractive plexiglass that covered the porch. We asked if he had any suggestions for covering it and he gave us a couple suggestions. One was a handmade glass. We stressed again that we were on a budget and that was too expensive. He then suggested a flexible steel to go over it. We asked the cost and he said it would be reasonable. We agreed that we would paint it because it would be cheaper than the cost of heating up their oven and getting it coated. When we were presented with the bill, it was more than double the estimate. We expected it to be higher but definitely did not expect it to be more than double especially since we stressed the budget we were on. Two things led to this problem: 1. we didn't get an estimate in writing for the porch cover; 2. language was definitely a barrier. In addition, he used the wrong screws to mount the steel (we specifically asked for certain screws), so now we have to grind them down to put a layer of weather resistant material over the top. That said, he is a really nice guy and I would recommend him...as long as you get it in writing!!! He was apologetic after we complained but said he had to talk to the "boss" about it. They did provide a very small refund after complaining ($125.00), but since we stressed that we were on a budget and didn't go with more expensive options, I still can't believe they honestly thought a small piece of steel was worth over $1,000 to us (or to any body)!.

It went famously ! Guillermo loves the creative process and a new challenge . . . very easy to work with and willing to go in whatever direction your ideas happen to go. Crew members are very attentive to every little detail and are a delight to have around. Wish we had more projects ! Maybe a chimney cap will come next . . .

We live in a charming 1939 Cape Code house with a slab concrete porch with a 1 ½ story drop off to the driveway on the South side. For the past five Halloweens, we’ve lived in fear that a child or parent would accidentally step wrong and end up broken on the pavement below. In the course of having paving stones installed this year, we decided we’d like to investigate getting a railing on the porch. Our neighborhood has a lot of wrought iron, in the style of the 30’s and 40’s – it looks authentic and serves the houses well, but we thought we wanted something that was a little more modern without challenging the consistency of the appearance of the house. We looked on Angies’ List and found Iron Art of the Northwest. A phone call led us to Mr. Navarro, who came out on a Saturday to teach us about wrought iron. He was very patient with our naive questions and brought plenty of pictures to give us ideas about what was possible. We settled on a tentative design, and Mr. Navarro took several pictures, promising to return very soon with a bid. A few days later, Mr. Navarro returned with the photographs he had taken and an overlay to show us how the railing would look. It was exactly the direction we we wanted and gave us the confidence that it would look great. A couple of weeks later, I called Mr. Navarro to see if we could come to his shop to decide on a powder coat color. Instead, he and the project artist and welder, Mr. Paz, loaded the railing into a truck, drove it to our house, and sat it in place on the porch, so we could easily visualize what it would look like to make a good color choice. We were stunned, because even in a non-coated state, it transformed our house. Two weeks later, Mr. Navarro and Mr. Paz delivered the finished railing and garden gate (which we ordered to match the railing design), and installed them for us. They are beautiful and significantly impact not only the safety, but also the curb appeal of our house. We love the design, which was laboriously hand-made by Mr. Paz, and the flower baskets that hang on the outside of the railing. We thought we were buying a railing and gate, and found we really bought a piece of art. There’s a reason Mr. Navarro’s company is called Iron Art of the Northwest – he and his crew really do make art. If you are thinking about a wrought iron fence, gate or railing and want something beautiful and unique, give Mr. Navarro a call.

I wanted to add railings to my front porch both for security and aesthetic reasons. I had done some research on the web regarding designs so I had a pretty good idea what I wanted when I met with Guillermo Navarro. This was very helpful as the design possibilities are endless. Guillermo made some good suggestions regarding how to mount the railings that improved upon my original concept.

Everything about it was great! He designed the gate and attached it. He did a really great job. It was well designed, and it fit perfectly. I thought the price was really reasonable considering what he did.

Because the gate and fencing were custom made, installation was in stages. Not a pre-fabricated solution, so much nicer! So much sturdier, aesthetically more pleasing. Guillermo is a perfectionist, I might accuse him of over building, which I happen to like. His structures are all made from scratch and welded to fit the specific site upon installation. We're so happy to have found Iron Art of the NW.

Guillermo is awesome. He is dependable, honest and does wonderful work. Guillermo came to our home on a least 3 occasions to make sure the railing installation/build was perfect (level both horizontally and vertically). Not only is the new railing perfect, but it has made a major difference in the curbside appeal of our home. Thank you Guillermo.

Very talented iron fabricators came and listened carefully to my needs and designs. They made samples for prior approval. They created a keyboard style railing after studying my piano, superb, however they were exceptionally slow, and failed to come on schedule.

Guillermo is a true professional; he listens, shows up on time, is meticulous, polite and extremely talented. If I ever need any work done I won't hesitate to use him again. His price came in well below other estimates, and he even came in under his own initial estimate. Extremely reasonable price and quality work.

Guillermo the owner was an excellent contractor. He was always prompt (even though sometimes I wasn't) honest, helpful, and excellent at his chosen field. Guillermo offered me several different styles and options and made excellent recommendations. He got the work done when he said he would and even did extras at no charge (like re-adjusting my old fence gates which I wasn't having replaced so that they would finally close). Iron Art of the Northwest is truly the kind of company every homeowner dreams about. I got a fair price for excellent work done on time.
