Interstate Roofing installed a new roof and gutters on our home in July 2021. Everyone we worked with in sales, office staff, roofing, and gutter installation was professional and great to work with. The bid was very complete and clear. All of their key staff have been with Interstate for at least 25 years. That says a lot about the company. The roof took under three days to complete. Within two hours of the install crew finishing the dumpster and portable toilet had been taken away and a supervisor had come to do a complete inspection of the roof. That was amazing to us. Gutters are done by a separate crew after the roofing work is complete. The new 6” gutters and oversize downspouts with ground level cleanouts look good and work great. You may be able to find a slightly lower bid than Interstate, but you get what you pay for! Your roof is not the project to go with anyone but the best. They did an outstanding job and we highly recommend them.

There were few things that was not done but they came back to fix it.

Sought a quote to replace two fixed skylights with the kind that can open, and to add vents to my roof. The company responded to my inquiry and visited my home in less than 24 hours. Provided helpful advice on the venting issue, a quote for the skylights, and a refreshingly frank warning that the company might not have the best price for my particular skylight project (which proved to be correct). Expertise and great service.

It was suggested by another company that I need a new roof. I called Interstate Roofing because I thought they did both replacement and repair/maintenance of cedar roofs. They called me back promptly and came out to the house that same day. The gentleman (unfortunately I can't remember his name) told me that I do not need a new roof, just some repair and maintenance. Amazingly, they do only replacement, not repair, making his honesty VERY IMPRESSIVE. When I need a new roof someday, I would hire this company in an instant.

I had 4 companies bid my roofing project. 2 which I had heard about before (Interstate was one) and 2 new companies with good reviews on Angie's List. Not only was I most impressed with Interstate's representative in the measuring and estimating portion, but they ended up being the most competitive price as well. This packaged with a reputation I was already privy to made it a done deal. Once the job was scheduled, they showed up on the day planned, and completed the entire job in less than two days. They not only cleaned up all of their mess as if they were never there, but actually picked up some garbage and yard debris I had around the house as well. They also informed me of some siding issues that I had on a portion on the roof which I wouldn't be able to see myself. I would highly recommend Interstate Roofing.

Solid work. I had previously used a contractor from Homeadvisor.com. Had to hire this company to repair all the damage the other folks caused.

It started out pretty good everyone I talked on the phone with was very nice and helpful. After the initial communications with their office everything started turning bad. They pushed the start date back 1 1/2 month’s because they needed a certain machine to do the job and the job they were using the machine on was taking longer than they thought. The part that really bothered me was their was a problem with the way the roof looked in one spot. They sent a man out to fix it, but said he would have to come back out the next week to fix it on Thursday but never showed or called. I got a call the next week to let me know that the roofing problem was not their fault and they would have to charge me for fixing the problem if I wanted it done. I still don’t understand how they would know it was not their fault. I will probably not be using this coming in the future. I was in construction for 40 years and I would always give the customer the benefit of the doubt unless I could prove we were not at fault.

Went smoothly

It took 2 tries, but they were very fair about fixing it the second and last time, and the weather was bad before and after the repair, making follow up difficult. We will seriously consider Interstate when our roof needs replacing in a few years.

I expected a good part of week for the project. It was done in a day for the main job. I was amazed. The impact to the household was minimal. The crew, never saw such a hard working team. There was no portable music box going full blast. It was everyone focused like a well oiled machine. It was worth the wait seeing the finished work.

It went well. They repaired the leaks, and didn't try to sell us on an entire new roof.

I can't think of any. The worst part is that they warned us that we had to have some extra boards put on. There was little bit of a extra cost to it; they warned us that might happen. The best part, my husband called to find out when they might be able to come out and do it and they told him some time in August. They called us a day or two after that and said they had a cancellation and they came out in July. That was good.

Went well overall, but sometimes hard to get a call back. Also, some of the replacement shingles are a different color, but it is not too bad.

The work was great. They kept me informed of what they were doing. Dustin was great helping with some paper work I needed assistance on. The Gal's on the phone were friendly on the phone, I had to go in to the office & they were so polite & helpful as well at the desk. Thank you for your work.

The roof was still on warranty and they fixed it ASAP!  No cost - done in half an hour.

Was a good experience from inspection and discussion of options, through written estimate, to execution. The whole Interstate team communicated well, were punctual, prepared, and did a good job cleaning up.
