Very disappointing experience. Two people came out and dutifully wrote down all the items we wanted for the cleanup. When the work day arrived, we discovered they sent one person, armed with three hand tools. They didn't get near as much done as we expected and many of the items on the list were untouched, the bark mulch was not included and a separate charge of $970 was quoted which was far more expensive than other places. When we questioned the value of the services that were provided, the company's response was to offer us a discount on MORE services, which given the disappointing outcome, didn't seem like a good idea. Poor communication, combined with a lack of understanding on what it takes to provide customer service, make for a bad customer experience, We would not recommend this company.

Karen and Isobel are fabulous - friendly, thoughtful, knowledable and commiteed to meeting clients "where they are" - from my own experience and tons of anecdotal stories, I know firsthand that many people get overwhelmed on where to start with establishing a landscape for their home. IG staff is upfront in identifying what they can and cannot do; what those services will cost and when possible, offering a menu- approach to completing a task which means that clients can match what they need in terms of assistance and deliverables with what those services will cost.

Results: my raised beds are beautiful and productive; my newly cleared yard beds are mulched and planted; the trellis are creative and attractive, and my long term projects are underway with a doable schedule for completion. And it's affordable - check the Portland Metro Chinook book for coupons! I also like that IG is committed to sustainable practices.
