Houck's did a very poor job of cleaning paint out of the crevices and the doors required hours and hours of additional work sandpaper, paint remover and dental picks to clean up the paint. Houck's claims they can't clean out the paint from the crevices without damaging the wood, and they got testy when I complained about the quality of work. I was quite dissatisfied with Houck's. I don't understand why so many people recommend them; they are the most expensive dipping place and they do the worst job in my experience. After this experience with Houcks, we started bringing doors to *Timby's Dip & Strip* and they managed to clean out the paint from edges and crevices without damaging wood, usually at less cost.
