Yea yea good. They did the service about a year ago. It did not take very long, maybe a day or 2.

They were not the cheapest.

I use them all the time. I think they are good at everything. I usually leave the car for the day. I find they're very reliable and they don't do extra work. I trust them.

I don't think I have had any problems. I don't think anything negative. It was mechanically. I don't have the vehicle anymore.

It was normal pricing. They weren't clear with the work they were suppose to do. I authorized them without know with the work they were going to do. I ended up paying extra for work I didn't want. They just weren't clear about the scope of their services.

I thought they were great but they were on the other side of town. I don't use them anymore because I don't live there anymore.  They specialize in German vehicles like audi, porsche, jetta or volkswagen. They do almost everything that a volkswagen dealership would do and it is cheaper. The owner is such a cool guy. He tries to make it the best possible. His name is Rene and he is a good guy.

These people are outstanding.  They are honest, thorough, and prompt.  It is always explained what is needed and what was done.  There is absolutely nothing negative to say about them.

Hillside is a small family run business.  They always take the time to carefully review your repairs/service. They thoroughly inspect the vehicle for even the most routine service and make note of maintenance suggestions for future visits.  As a bonus, they also vacuum the car and usually provide a little candy treat.  At this service, they noticed a hood struct was blown and needed replacement , a running light was out, and a cam gasket leaking oil.  They gave me options and prices for repair.  I would recommend this shop to anyone with a VW or Audi.

In a nutshell, this place is fantastic.  There are a couple of minor improvements I'd make, but I feel that their quality of work and opinions exceed that of the VW dealership I also use (Dick Hannah VW.)  Two minor complaints:  first, they don't always keep you up to date about the status of your car.  I'd be happy with a quick text every 3-4 hours, even if it just said "on schedule," but at the very least, I should get a call before I figure I need to call them to ask how it's going.  Also, for the alternator replacement, I ended up paying about 15% more than the dealership estimate...not sure how that came about, as they're usually comparable, but most of the time a bit less.
Even with that, however, I'd have my clutch/flywheel replaced, and it was done right, first time, without problems, and for over $1000 less than the dealership quoted (dual mass vs. standard, but I don't mind a little more vibrations.)  Standard maintenance services are less expensive and better than the dealer.  While the dealer claims some world-class multi-point inspection, they've never come forward like Hillside has to point out what's wrong, what it means, what happens if I don't get it fixed right now, and...something along the lines of "We can do it for you today, but you're due for XYZ service next time you're in, and since we'll already be in there, it'll be cheaper...and it's not going to do anything bad to your engine to leave it as-is for now."  (I *think* that was with a belt tensionor, but I'm not positive...and did have it replaced with a follow-up appointment.)
So...if you're looking for honesty, reasonable prices (almost always cheaper than dealer), and high quality work (at or above the dealer), I wouldn't hesitate to take my car(s) here.  In fact, after the first good experience, I now take the wife's VW in, too...  All that, despite having several other places that are a lot closer to me - I'm north of Vancouver, WA.

They do a really good job and that's why I have been with them for years. They do quality work and they correct the problems that had been caused by other mechanics. They do a really thorough job. They'll also offer to fix something and give you a couple of different options. They are really nice, too.

They are efficient and thorough. I've never had a problem with them. They keep my 1998 Jetta running and in tip top condition. They've been able to get the car in quickly when I've needed them to, and I always get it back the same day.

They are always completely reliable and thoroughly professional.  Work always done as ordered and on time as promised.
We have several cars and always have Hillside look after them.  It's quite a breath of fresh air after having mediocre
experiences elsewhere.

Hillside Imports have good customer service. The quality of the work is good. The pricing is fair.

I was thoroughly pleased with Hillside Imports and I intend to now take my Volkswagen to them for repair work.  They are beyond professional.

On more than one occasion, my car has had issues that other repair shops weren't able to diagnose much less fix (including the VW dealer.)  They have also told me that repairs that the dealer said needed to be done were not necessary.  They have also found repairs that were done incorrectly by other shops.
