Needed some stair repairs in our old house. Saw HHC on Anji and through Google. Called them up. Got a quick call response: 1. Came out that day to check things out & give an estimate. 2. Got an estimate and we settled on a date a couple days later. (While Josh said they could do it right away we couldn't.) 3. They came, they saw, they informed, they fixed, they cleaned up, 4. The stairs look (and work) wonderful. 5. The cost was less than the estimate. So, I'm thinking WHAT IN HELL KIND OF CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IS THIS? 1. Nice guys 2. Highly skilled in their work/field. 3. Informative on any issues during the work. 4. Did what they said they would do. 5. Fixed the stair issues. 6. While we were writing the check (less than the estimate), One of them was tightening door knobs, door hinges. I said, "Hey, you guys..." and Josh said, "We fix things". What kind of construction company? THE BEST! (One thing I would recommend: If it's inside work, you might consider some ear plugs).

Fantastic contractors. Gave an estimate with specific dates. Planned ahead and performed the work on the date given. Went above and beyond with the repairs, doing little extras to give better worksmanship. Finished $75 under budget, which like never happens. Absolutely fantastic, would recommend them to anybody.

Once again Hillhouse Construction did the job to perfection. What started out as redoing the baseboards turned into adding matching trim on all windows and doors and painting the doors and jams white to give the home a more updated look. I am so HAPPY with the work and I really enjoy showing it off to friends and family!

Reliable, Reasonable and professional

Great crew, very honest and had beautiful results. Came back when the extremely hot dry summer warped a few boards on our new fence and replaced them for free! Very fair prices, great customer service and quality build.

Communication is very important to me and my wife when hiring, and working with businesses we’ve hired for repairs, etc. Guys at Hillhouse were very explanatory with bid, what needed to be done...arranged a day for the work and they were on time as agreed, described what was on-going during the job, and they held fast to the final bill, not exceeding the original bid. They worked hard doing work that would put me in back spasms....please hire these guys because honesty these days is a rarity. Thanks!

Hire this man. 10/10 Josh and his team remodeled our entire exterior: new windows, siding, doors, garage door, garden boxes, garage doors, patio, fencing, insulation and exterior paint. (All in 8 short weeks!) He was sweet, professional, affordable, fast and the highest quality. Josh not only cares about the job, but cares about his clients as well. Our beloved dog was hit and killed in the road outside our house last year, which prompted this whole project. Josh went the extra mile and checked and re-checked that the new fence was safe for the dogs. The compassion he showed us meant so much and I can honestly say this man has changed our lives for the better. Thank you so much Josh. :)

These guys are an absolute joy to have in your home. Josh, who does the estimating and runs the crew, is a great communicator and keeps the job flowing very smoothly. His brothers Benny and Charlie are wizards with tile, stone, drywall, texture, etc. I cannot recommend them any more highly.

I wanted to replace both the old toilets in the house and the over-sized sliding closet doors in my hallway would not work properly. As usual the Hill Brothers went above the expectations and made sure that everything was done to my satisfaction and everything was cleaned up properly. This was project/Jon #9 with them and I will always check with Hillhouse Construction before going any place else for home projects/improvements.

The Hill brothers are great. easy to work with. Very reasonable. They go the extra mile to make sure you are happy. There are no surprises. They rebuilt our front and rear fences, built a new side gate and stained the whole fence. We are very pleased with the quality of their work and the whole experience of working with them. We will definitely hire them for future projects.

Have now hired Hillhouse Construction for three projects: re-roof an outbuilding including major structural repair, demolish & build large deck and stairway, and install & paint fencing. In all cases the Hillside crew were professional, easy to work with, and go the extra mile to please the customer. They are craftsmen who take great pride in their work and I couldn't recommend them more highly.

I am very pleased with Hillhouse Construction. Josh and Charles showed up on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. Their rate was fair and affordable. Josh reconfirmed our appointment and I felt confident working with them throughout the project. I highly recommend Hillhouse Construction and will use them again for other projects.

This was project #7 for me with Hillhouse Construction. The Hill brothers are great to work with. They always go that extra to make sure you are more then 100% satisfied with the work. This is the only time I ever let contractors have free access to home, they are that trustworthy. Project #8 is already scheduled.

This was Project #6 for me with Hillhouse Construction. They did the final finishes on my 2 Bathrooms and they look FANTASTIC! The Hill Brothers always go that extra to make sure you are 100% satisfied with the work. Their help in picking out products for jobs is great and welcome. I only wish I could upload pictures of their work to show how wonderful their jobs are.

Josh Hill & Hillhouse Construction roofed a duplex for me this month. It was a complete tear off with 4 layers of shingles. They also installed & rewired a bathroom exhaust fan and replaced 3 broken windows. The bid was fair, and they started the job on the designated date and finished on schedule despite high winds, freezing weather & rain. They even had to work with lights to secure the house from the weather one late afternoon. The job came out real nice, looks good, and they cleaned up everything nicely. Josh is excellent at communicating about the progress of the job and a has a very cheerful personality. I would highly recommend this company.

Josh and his brother's just finished their 5th project for me. The took out the old linoleum flooring in 2 bathrooms and put down ceramic tile. They also took out the old shower and built me a new one with 2 kinds of tile. My bathrooms went from 1972 to 2015 and they look fantastic. I have already put them on notice for the next couple of projects. You cannot go wrong with Hillhouse Construction.

This was my 4th time using Hillhouse Construction. During a prior job they discovered that there was an issue with my electrical system, my breakers were over loading and tripping. Josh, Benny & Charlie re-did the breaker panels and did a thorough schematic for me to follow. They went beyond what I needed to make sure I had no further electrical issues. Already planning the next project with them.

This was my third time using Hillhouse Construction. Once again they performed the job perfectly. They showed when they said they would, and they did the work beyond my expectations. These guys go beyond just doing the job, their attention to detail and going the extra mile for their clients is what everyone wants in a Contractor. I have already given them a list of more jobs will full confidence is their work.
