Looks great. Hasn't been used much to evaluate repair integrity. Expensive; I was paying for expertise. No time constraints for the repair - finished in about a month.

My father-in-law made us a large drop leaf dining room table that converted to a 10 foot banquet table with banquet ends and leaves. Unfortunately the surface of the drop leaf portion became marred. My attempts to repair it were not successful. Green Furniture Hospital took the table to their shop along with a leaf and refinished the damaged portion with an excellent match of color. The top looks fantastic. We are extremely pleased with their work in restoring this family treasure to new!

They fixed everything quickly and easily. They did a great job. I guess it was totally worth what we spent and so the value and they were easy to work with. They did everything just like they said they were going to.

It was a fair price for what he did and the value of the piece of furniture. The did such a great job. It took awhile to do it but they told us that upfront.

There was really nothing to it. We took the table in and it was finished beautifully and when they said it would be.

It took awhile, but the results are great and they even stained the new caning to match the original for free!

The job was done on time and for the price quoted. The repair was hardly noticeable. They did a great job, and I would hesitate using them again or recommending them to my friends

I had an excellent experience with this company. I called that morning to confirm that they would do this type of minor repair, then took my chair in later that morning. Both employees were very friendly and helpful, and replaced the glides on two of my chairs on the spot for no charge. They accepted the chair with the broken rung for repair, and estimated that it might take a few weeks before the chair was ready. However, the next day I received a call that the chair was ready to be picked up. The repair job is beautiful - I can't tell now which rung was repaired.

Refinish antique tea cart. Have yet to get it back though. Will update report soon. They were very nice and professional, have a lot of knowledge and know what they're doing, but I guess refinishing a tea cart is expensive!

When I initially called, the owner - Michael - gave me good information on the proposed re-caning and a probable estimate. When we took the chairs in, he noted the looseness of their joints and gave an estimate on that repair also. I agreed to that total and the estimate that it would take about two months (the re-caning is done off-site by another person). The work was done in two months, and the chairs are all sturdy and neat with smooth caning.
Actually the repair estimate was for just five chairs, but eventually they decided the sixth chair needed its joints repaired also. That was done with no additional cost.
I'm very pleased with the work and interacting with the people (and cat) at Green Furniture Hospital.

Our experience with the Green Furniture Hospital was great from start to finish! It began with Mike who came to our home in order to provide an estimate to refinish our antique oak dining table, treadle sewing machine and cedar chest. While at our home, Mike shared the different levels of refinishing that the Green Furniture Hospital could provide for each piece. Mike emailed us an estimate for the refinishing within a few days. We contacted Mike and scheduled our refinishing project. Mike, along with another Green Furniture craftsman, picked up our furniture on the day and at the time we had previously scheduled. When it came time to stain the pieces, Mike contacted us so we could choose the stain for each piece--they matched the stain of our dining table to our dining chairs and our cedar chest to our bedroom furniture. When they delivered our furniture, they were extremely careful, not only with our newly refinished antiques (which were gorgeous), but they were also extremely careful moving our furniture pieces onto our newly refinished wood floors. We could not be happier with the work and the Green Furniture Hospital. We highly recommend them for their service and incredible work.

The dining room table had been in use by us for about 40 years and had suffered through being used for crafts by an adult craft group and a Camp Fire group. All my efforts to protect the top had helped but had not prevented a certain amount of damage over the years. A consultation with the experts at Green Furniture Hospital led to the suggestion that refinishing only the top would be less expensive than a job involving the whole table and that it would be a major improvement in the appearance of the piece. The resulting job is beautiful! The table now looks gorgeous and the refinishing brings out the stunning grain of this cherry table. Every job GFH has done for us has been perfectly done.

They did a very good job. The price was very reasonable. I looked at several companies on the list and they seemed to go above in providing great service and a reasonable estimate. They were very easy to work with and I am very pleased with them.

They did a good job and they were prompt. The repair people didn't quote me a price. I would go back there again if I needed work like that done again. However next time I would have them give me a price in advance so I would know what to expect.

They took a long time getting the job done. They estimated the wrong price to me for the work that needed to be performed. The repair was not done the way I wanted it to be done. The workmanship was not as professional as what I anticipated. I could definitely see where the repair had been done when I got it back.

They were very friendly and honest about the time we would have to wait for the stools, since they were quite busy with many projects. I knew they did excellent work from a prior experience where they had restored a valuable antique sofa for a lodge to which we belong. I was not disappointed. The stools turned out to be gorgeous once the old paint/lacquer was removed from the rosewood and inlay. The folks at Green's treated my little stools with care. You can tell that they take pride in their work. And when we went in to pay, they charged us $50 less then originally estimated.

Very well. The owner came to our home to give us an estimate and promised completion within two weeks. It was a small job that he would "work in." We agreed that I would deliver the chair to his shop, which was not far away. He called within 24 hours, indicating that the chair was ready. I picked it up a few day later and it appears to be in excellent condition.

Perfect. This company is family owned: Andy owns the shop and trained under his father who started the business. This is the place to take antique furniture for good restoration and repair. The staff checked the chair for stability and corrected the one problem. Then the chair was caned and looks perfect.
