Lauren was recommended by our realtor, and was very helpful in explaining the process of getting a mortgage and the benefits of using a broker. She helped compile all of our confusing financial information and gave us clear breakdowns of what we could afford and the decisions we needed to make. When we needed to be able to put in an offer on a house fast, she made it happen with a quick turnaround even on weekends.

Lauren was amazing, helping us to take an extremely complicated and confusing process and making it simple and comprehensible. We were first-time home buyers and didn't know what to expect except complications. But, because Lauren was so thorough and helpful in explaining everything, there was actually very little for us to do. She got us a great rate. Couldn't recommend her more highly!

We went to Lauren to take advantage of low interest rates and she was able to save us $350 a month! The cost of service that I listed is the total cost of our refinance, including appraisal fee, title company, etc. all managed by Lauren. Also keep in mind that with a refinance, you end up skipping a payment, so the cost is actually less. To start we simply filled out an application online with our employment and current financing information, Lauren gave us an estimated savings which looked really good, so we elected to proceed. After supplying a little more detail (loan statements, bank statements, insurance info, etc) and having an appraiser visit the house, Lauren had the new financing proposal prepared for us in no time - and it came in better than her estimate! Over the course of the refinance we had two meetings, one to sign to formal loan applications, and a second at the title company to close the refinance. All in all, we were very happy with the service we recieved from Lauren at Value Mortgage, and the process went quicker than expected.

Just like the first time, Lauren was extremely knowledgeable about the process, my options, and how it would all work. She was patient with me through all of my texts, emails, and phone calls with questions.  She walked me through the various options and I know her primary goal was to get me the best deal possible.  I appreciated knowing that I was in good hands with Lauren and that she had my best interest in mind.  

Lauren is a gem. I have worked with Lauren since 2012, completing multiple purchases and refinances, including one recent cash-out refinance. I didn't initially realize the importance of finding a great mortgage broker, as I was really just looking for a loan. However, with each transaction Lauren proves her worth by suggesting approaches to the financing process that I had never considered, many of which have saved both money and headaches in the long term. With my cash-out refinance, Lauren helped me turn my equity into cash for a major remodel, and provided insights and follow through that helped me get the highest possible appraisal amount. Even after my loans are closed, I appreciate the ability to get quick answers when I have a question or a need -- often outside of typical banking hours. We had a fantastic experience, working with Lauren Green.  Lauren was competent, very responsive and approachable.  We worked with her as first time buyers, however the professionalism and knowledge she demonstrated would suit any buyer well.  We appreciated her working style, which was consistently professional as well as relaxed.  She responded to each of our questions thoroughly and made sure that we felt satisfied.  She even provided extra spreadsheets so that we could calculate costs on our own!  There was some delay in receiving our appraisal (company providing appraisal was slow) and Lauren confidently followed up and advocated for us.  Lauren also partnered very well with our real estate agent - making the flow of information between the two of them seamless.  When it was time for closing, she volunteered to come with us so that we felt confident in each document that we signed

Lauren was an absolute pleasure to work with! She helped me get preapproved for my first home and was extremely quick to respond to any questions I had for her, whether I asked via phone, email, or text. She gave me a really handy spreadsheet that let me plug in the values of any home I looked at to see how my monthly payments would be affected based on the home's price and taxes, and best of all, this spreadsheet was already loaded with my preapproval rates & limits, so the guesswork was really minimized. Once I found a home that I wanted to purchase, she worked seamlessly with my real estate agent (Paul Rastler, whom she had recommended to me, and he was also fantastic) to get the offer and preapproval letter submitted quickly. Once our offer was accepted, Lauren quickly and quietly did all the dirty work for me, making sure all of the documentation was in order prior to closing, and she even helped me find some extra cash to buy points to bring down my already low interest rate. Without Lauren's help, I really believe I would have floundered through the home buying process and probably would have wasted quite a bit of money in the process. I will highly recommend her to all my friends and family!
