Gallagher Auto Spa

I called and got an appointment time and day that was convenient for me. When I dropped the car off, they said it would be several hours. About 4 hours later they called and said it was ready. Clean, waxed, buffed, it looked great. The wax has held up well since.

The car looks amazing. I am very happy with the clean interior.

They are pretty good. The price and service was good. They could do a better job on the detail. They just missed stuff that I thought were pretty important.

Holy Cow.......Gallaghers did the best job ever, that truck looked brand new!! Got home put it on craigs list, got a call 15 minutes later and sold it to the first guy that looked at it! He was also impressed with the detailing!!

They made the car sparkling clean including the engine compartment and I know it helped sell the car quicker.  It was definitely worth the investment.  They were professional and completed the detail in the time they said they would.  I would definitely go back to them.

Overall, it was acceptable after I saw @ pick up, & asked for more cleaning of interior.
Plus, I did more cleaning/repair as @ the time of our service, owner did not have a fabric shaver, so I had to do all of upholstery that was scratched up by our cat by purchasing a $30 appliance myself.
Concerning body work, one end an out-sourced bumper repair was well done, but on the front, the in-house touch up paint was not the correct white. 

It went great - note that if you leave small stuff out it'll be placed in Zip-Locks, which is probably expected (I don't go for car detail that often).
Later, I learned that the price was very competitive. A body shop providing detailing would have charged upward of $300 for the same job.

This is the second time I've used Gallagher Auto Spa.   This time the car developed an odor, we suspect from a flower vase that spilled in the trunk.   Steve used an ozone treatment for the interior, completely cleaned the trunk, including wheel well, spare tire, etc.   The floor mats were removed and shampooed, as was the carpet.  The leather seats and headliner were treated, the dash treated, as well.  He and his crew even empty the console and cleans it, putting whatever he finds in a plastic bag for you.
Since the car was in, I had a Classic Car wash done also, which is complete washing, rub down with clay bar to remove stubborn grit and stains, and complete wax.   The wheels were washed, as were the tires...which then received an oil wash (to restore the black color).
   
The car was done in only 28 hours from when we dropped it off.    The result was well worth the price, and Steve can count on my return business and recommendation.

They took our absolutely disgusting, filthy, dog hair everywhere car for a few hours, and gave us back a brand new car! It is usually $135 for interior detailing, but because our car was so gross, we went ahead and paid extra for them to remove the seats and really be able to clean everything. I thought the car would be clean, but I had no idea they could make it look brand new!

In good shape, this car had just returned from a 3000 mile trip in Alaska and Yukon. This included gravel roads, dusty roads, bugs, etc. The road grime, while not heavy, was adhered well to the finish, and would require some work to remove.
Scott Gallagher is an extremely responsible and professional businessman; he clearly explained what we would get for the price, scheduled us for a few days later. The car was ready the same day (in at 9 am, done by 3:30 pm), and is immaculate.
I can't say enough good things about Scott's service; I won't take my car anywhere else.

Car was still in excellent condition mechanically with no body damage, but starting to age appearance wise. My wife was even starting to make comments about trading in for a newer model. Scott did an absolutely exceptional job, and both my wife and I agree that it's almost like having a brand new car.

I searched for a few months to find someone I trusted to detail my new car. I even considered going to the Seattle area. I found Gallagher by doing an internet search. After meeting with Scott in person at his place of business, and having him thoroughly explain his work, I was willing to give it a try. Even though my car is less than a year old, even a new car doesn't arrive at the dealer with a flawless finish. My car had some minor rough spots in the finish as well as swirl marks in the clear coat. When I picked up my car, Scott had a bright light he cast over some of the surfaces which would highlight any problems. The finish on my car was a smooth as silk! Not only did it look great from any distance, I've never felt a finish that smooth on any car I've ever owned. Incredible job, and at that price, I think it was a very good value. I would highly recommend him.

What stupendous service! I have a 2007 Ford Escape that I purchased when new and have taken pretty good care of it since then. I decided that it was time to get my car detailed and waxed, so I called Gallagher Auto Spa because a friend had recommended them to me. Scott Gallagher explained the different services available and helped me make a choice that fit what I needed. I took my car to them first thing in the morning and they gave me a ride to work about 10 minutes away! They worked on my car all day and picked me up from work when I was off at the end of the day. Once we got back to his shop, Scott explained all the work that had been done and made sure I was satisfied with the end result. I think my car looks better now than when I got it new from the dealership! Thanks so much, Scott!

When you live in Portland, OR your car takes a beating. The constant rain makes it almost a futile practice to wash your car and I let my go until it is really in need. A friend of mine recommended I call Scott at Gallagher Auto Spa. I am glad I did. One of the reasons I hesitate to make an appointment for detailing is the pain of delivering my car and picking it up. I was surprised when Scott went over all of the choices/solutions to this excuse. He would pick me up and return the car, send someone to me to do the work or he could loan me a car to drive while he did the work. I decided to take the loaner since I planned to be out and about. Scott met me at the door, took my instructions, put me right in the loan car and told me he what to expect. He kept me updated on the progress and called me a half an hour before the car was finished so that I could be on my way before the finishing touches were complete. When I picked my car up I was thrilled. Not only was it spotless and shiny but his crew had cleaned out every cubby hole and put all my things in plastic bags (great way to get me to go through those things that had accumulated in my cargo box.) The price - very reasonable! Thanks Scott. I will see you in a few months.

Wow! Scott Gallagher is a miracle worker! I hired Scott to detail both the interior and exterior of my car. My car has seen better days and there was all these water stains on the paint and it looked really dull. Scott made my car shine like new! And, it's totally weatherized for the winter, which is especially important since I don't garage my car. Then, there is the matter of the interior. I was embarrassed at how far I'd let my car go. I put on 25k miles a year because I'm in sales and I spend a lot of time, including eating, drinking and generally trashing out my car on a daily basis. Scott was so polite to tell me it wasn't that bad (I know better) and gave me a super deal on cleaning which included shampooing the stains out of the seats and carpet. I vow to do a better job of taking care of my car and bringing it in to Scott a regular basis. I've had other companies detail my car and I can say with certainty that Scott is the best!

I had never had a car detailed before Gallagher Auto Spa detailed our car. They actually came to our house to fully detail our car, and I didn't have to do a thing. When I came out to look at it several hours later, I was shocked that our car looked way better than it EVER had! We bought it almost brand new but after the detailing it literally sparkled. Then here is the best part: When I took the car down for a visit to my son in college, he literally did not recognize the car. I'm not joking! What a treat.
