RJ Ramos Fresh Coat and RJ Ramos Construction did a great job on my house. It sold in 3 days as the asking price. The crew was early every morning and every member perfect gentlemen. Answered all my questions and didn't seem to mind that I was always looking at the progress and always communicated on what job was being done on each particular day. I also had a very old cat that did not adjust well to the move or having workers in her house. The entire crew watched out for her and were patient in keeping her contained and comfortable. In addition to the painting and major repairs, they also looked out for and then repaired small problems, such as replacing overhead lights in the basement, making sure light switch plates were clean, stabilizing the ladder to the attic.
They were also very prompt! I wanted to sell the house as soon as possible and Randy Ramos brought in a full crew and my house was done in about a week. We had one rain delay.
I was extremely pleased with the work that was done for me and totally enjoyed working with all the men on the crew.
During the process, we were pleased with the professionalism of the guys. They respected our house, keeping it clean, and I felt entirely comfortable having them in the house when we were not there. We were also so happy that, before they got started, one of their guys even took down the hardwired alarm system we had been trying to get the security system company to remove with no success.
However, I had to give them a B for one major reason: in my initial talks with Bill, it was not made clear to me that he would subsidize a portion of the cost of our samples. Since we were on a very tight budget, we only paid for a few samples..... much less than we would have wanted to to be confident in our paint color decision. And of course, when the first color went up (the one for the majority of the house), my heart dropped. We had to change the color which of course meant additional labor charge and additional paint charge. Otherwise, we are happy with our paint job and did appreciate the inclusion of the other services in with our paint job.
