Dan needed money to finish his door and jamb project at a customer's house. Begged us to loan him $5,000.00. After numerous calls and begging conversations, we decided to take a chance. Dan started paying us back and after $500.00 being paid back, he stopped responding and skipped out on us. You always have to pay 1/2 down so that he can buy the supplies and then wants the remaining at the end. Dan doesn't always finish the project as promised.

Dan has refused my calls and been unresponsive to text and voicemail communication in effort to schedule a time for him to address 2 chips on a porecelain clawfoot bathtub after an insect landed on it during his time there while drying (window was left open with fan in it for drying, which was smaller than windows width). This is ironic as he initially offered to come by and repair any scratches even for free if he was in the area. He will be very friendly and communicative up until the service date. After that, good luck hearing from him if any corrective service is needed.

We selected Dan out of a number of contractors we asked quotes from for our cabinet reface. What attracted us to Dan was the price and his positive attitude towards the job. He was enthusiastic and seemed easy to work with (which proved out to be true when we did hire him). Dan was very professional and punctual (actually the most punctual from all contractors I have dealt with). Dan also showed he cares about his customers that he came back to touch up a few things even after the contract. He also gave us the go ahead to contact him in the future if any else goes wrong. We love his work and our kitchen looks amazing now. We'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

We purchased everything for this job and Dan installed it. We bought what we liked and he made sure it all worked out. The vanity we purchased was about 6 inches taller than the old one. This made it impossible to put the backsplash on without moving an electrical outlet. Dan found an electrician that was willing to come out in the evening to move the outlet. We love our "new" bathroom.
