"CompRite has received a copy of the attached complaint from Angie’s List. We will happily work to resolve this issue with the customer via Angie’s List and put forth our best effort to make any accommodations necessary in order to accomplish mutual understanding and resolution. Please also note, that this complaint is unfounded. As you will see from the attached response, the customer declined the Data Backup service that was offered to them, then signed to NOT have this service done. Only to later come back and attempt to blame CompRite for not doing it. Therefore, we strongly disagree with the customer’s position. We take customer’s date very seriously and post DATA BACKUP service conspicuously on our price lists, discuss it verbally during the check in process, and even designated a special area on the work order authorization receipt for customer to initial whether data backup is required. As the attached copy of the Work Order authorization will show, the customer did not request a Data Backup service, and signed NOT to have their data backed up. The customer also signed to have original factory software reinstalled, which included only Windows Vista and not Windows 7 or Microft Office. As we have made every attempt on our end to inform and advise the customer well in advance of the services being performed we fail to see how the customer is filing such unfounded complaint. Nevertheless, we sympathize with the inconvenience this may have caused and are willing to restore Windows 7 and Microsoft Office should customer choose to return the computer back for service with the Windows 7 and MS Office installation disks for NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Lastly, while we appreciate Angie’s List attempt to help their paid members, the threat to publish a frivolous complaint in any type of publication or form will be viewed as slander and our attorney, Mr. Ron Greened with the law form of Greenen & Greenen PLLC (360) 694-1671, will be involved in order to protect our honest and fair business practice of over 11 years. Therefore, we look forward to working with you and the customer towards a fair resolution and expect no negative publication to appear in light of the facts presented by our response.
