Two men showed up promptly and courteously. They unscrewed the metal side of the sliding glass door and took out an approximately 2X1-inch thin piece of gray plastic from the track. Then they replaced the metal side, WD40d the track and we were able to close the door again. All this took less than 10 minutes and they never had to lift out the heavy glass door. When I set up the appointment on the phone, the owner may have told me that it was going to be $160 regardless (I can't remember exactly how he worded it), nevertheless, for that teeny amount of labor, I would have thought we'd get some kind of price break. I have a plumber who wouldn't have charged us more than $60 for something comparable. I guess we can't expect that kind of service most of the time, but for our first experience with Angie's List, we'd hoped for better. If my second experience with Angie's List goes the same (or worse), my level of trust in its service will plummet.

It went really well. The listened to our needs and offered suggestions to come up with the best possible solution without being pushy. The gave us very clear expectations of what to expect on the day of install. The only glitch was the glass came in without the tint. They immediately notified me, took full responsibility, and reordered the glass. They installed the doors the same day as promised and came out later to remove the incorrect glass and install the correct glass. The installers were polite and had a great sense of humor. The second time they were here to change out the incorrect glass for the correct glass, we hardly noticed they were here.
