EMERALD SCAPE

Nice enough owner; talked a good talk about what he could do with our yard, but when it came time to doing it, it was apparent that he was over-committed with other jobs. He farmed out this new account to assistants who did fine for their limited work, but the yard needed other maintenance (weeding elsewhere, shrubbery trimming, etc). The assistants operated with blinders on, just doing what they were told (mowing, and how many times do you need to run a lawn edger?) We tried to contact owner to resolve the situation; no response from him until we included a notice in the monthly bill that his services were no longer required.

He did remove the grass, but would only show up 1 time out of 20 calls they would make an appointment and then just not come. He planted the new grass too late. He kept saying it wasn't too late, but it was a total disaster. The grass didn't come up at all- absolutely none of it! I was paying him as he did things, so I refused to pay for the new grass, because there wasn't any. Quack grass grew in the bare spots, because too much time went by without good grass there.
