They did a great job. They did what they said they would do for they price quoted.

They were everything that Angie's List member said and more. They were the cheapest quote compared to other providers I contacted. They came on time to do the packing and I was happy with the work. The following day they returned to load the van. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and told me exactly when they would arrive. Their service was fantastic and I was extremely pleased.

The guy that came out to do the quote was wonderful, he even brought some free boxes. When I needed to change the manifest, they were very accommodating. They men that came to do the move were a little slow, but very efficient and friendly. They were very nice. The people who brought the furniture were from United and they brought the stuff from Oregon, they were very efficient, also and nothing was broken. They were really nice and moved some furniture around for us because it was really heavy and we couldn't move it. They came and zipped around and unloaded the truck and were gone in 2 hours. They even had things to put together and unwrap. This was the first time we used movers and it was a pleasant experience.

It turned out to be a great move. The packers were great and the move went very smoothly.

All moves are stressful but Eastside lived up to its commitment in eliminating one more headache that we would have to contend with.

.Only frustration was that we were given a 5 day window for arrival of our belongings in Denver and it did not arrive until the final day. Since it was a summer move and our shipment was the only thing on the van, a 3 day window for a 1250 mile move would have been appropriate.

Very little damage to items, just a few scuffs and scratches. Some boxes were crushed, mostly on corners/sides, but luckily those boxes contained mainly clothes (clothes used as 'packing material' with breakables in the center). One box torn open, but contents appeared intact.
Actual delivery in Atlanta was initially scheduled between Jan. 3 and Jan. 12, with requested and anticipated date of Jan. 5. However due to her limited belongings (less than 2300 lbs), movers made 3 deliveries before hers, resulting in delay of arrival/delivery to January 10 . . . still within initial scheduling on paperwork, but resulted in 5 days of empty house and no possessions. I don't think this delay is directly attributed to Eastside, nor can I say they directly caused the minor damage either. Though we purchased 'insurance' to safeguard for missing/damaged items, there was definitely no need file any claim whatsoever.
Overall, Mayflower did what they were contracted to do, and made the move stress-free for my daughter.
As a sidenote, I personally went to Eastside office to pre-pay/pre-authorize payment for the move, and the office staff there was v-e-r-y friendly, courteous, and professional. They were helpful in answering all my questions, and interacted with me like I was a member of the family. Thanks.

They were helpful and pleasant. There was some breakage on a couple of things, but they worked that through and got the glass replaced.

We moved from abroad through another company which has no Portland presence. They partner with Eastside for delivery in Portland. So the price wasn't set by Eastside, and they only delivered and unloaded the container in Portland. They arrived promptly, were willing to help move an item that wasn't part of the move, and were friendly and professional throughout. They are good, careful, professional, and fair guys. Minor damage to some walls which they promptly repaired. Significant damage to some goods, but this clearly happened in transit (probably because the container was improperly packed abroad), and so not their fault. I'd use them again...

I have to say overall I would give them an "A". When I contracted with them they were in the process of merging with another company. The efficiency of the sales person that worked with me was absolutely A+. He was extremely professional, very knowledgeable and his appointments were always very prompt. His name was Nick and I was very happy with him. The process kind of got bogged down because they were in transition with the merge so there were difficulties in the communication, process, etc. All in all it was an excellent experience and I would recommend them highly. It was just a bit of a struggle.

The company was represented by Vice President Jodi Kilgore. She was very professional in all our interactions; she always arrived on time for appointments and promptly followed up with estimates, schedules, etc. She even undertook to contact the apartment house in Houston to ascertain delivery requirements. Her estimate of costs was extremely accurate--we even received a small rebate. After the truck left Portland, the driver kept us informed of his progress and he arrived at the apartment in Houston at the time and on the date specified. All of the personnel we dealt with arrived on time, were polite and worked diligently. The goods arrived without significant damage. We have moved eight times in the last ten years and this was by far the easiest.

They came out yesterday and emailed me an estimate. The girl who was here at least obviously knew what she was doing and knew exactly which questions to ask. I was really highly impressed with her. The girl was very good about calling and letting me know that she would be late. I have had only the one visit and I have no idea how they’re going to go about loading and everything. I have some more questions and I am going to give them a call for answers. It is very possible that I would use them in the future but I’d know for sure after I’ve used them.

The move went very well. I received estimates from three different companies and Eastside's was comparable to the others so price was not my primary decision point. I was impressed with the professionalism of the Mayflower salesman who made the initial estimate (Paul Kruse) and I've used Mayflower in the past with good results so Mayflower was my choice for this move as well. The moving crew was excellent. The driver, Bob, was right on time both for loading and unloading and he managed the entire process very efficiently and professionally. The entire move went very smoothly!

They showed up on time, worked hard, were very careful with our belongings, and were totally professional. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

They did a great job and had a large crew. It took all day. Some things to consider, however; there is a interstate fee when crossing from one state to another, even if its 20 miles. We were not made aware of this extra charge. Also, they offered garment boxes which we happily accepted; however, what they failed to tell us was that, even though they were loaners, when they moved them to your new place, they want them back at the end of the day. We thought we could return them later, but we were mistaken. The extra hour unpacking them at the end of the move cost us another $200. So my advice is when you get to the new place, your first job is to unpack the garment boxes and flat fold them by the truck! Otherwise, everyone was great and worked hard. We provided donuts, drinks and pastries in the morning, lunch at noon, and tipped everyone $40. Oh, and not a thing was broken!

THEY DID A VERY QUICK JOB OF PACKING. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL AND THEIR UNPACKING WAS VERY SWIFT AND THOROUGH. THEY WERE IN UNIFORM. THERE WERE THINGS WE NEEDED TO HAVE MOVED TO CERTAIN AREAS. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL.

IT WAS EXCELLENT. THEY WERE VERY GOOD AND PROFESSIONAL WITH THE FURNITURE WE HAD. THEY DID WHAT THEY HAD TO DO WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE TO SAY ABOUT THEM, OTHER THAN THE FACT THAT THEY WERE GOOD OVERALL.

I CALLED FOR AN ESTIMATE FOR A LOCAL MOVE AND PACKING. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND MADE MY MOVE VERY QUICK AND SUCCESSFUL. I COULD EVEN USE THEM FOR OVERSEAS SHIPPING, NOT THAT I'M PLANNING TO DO SO.
