Devers Memorial Eye Clinic

Dr. Straiko was great. He examined my eyes, and determined that the corneal ulcer had already healed. To maintain eye comfort, he recommended specific eye drops for day and night time use- he wrote down the names of them so that I could pick them up at my pharmacy. My main complaint with the clinic was the atrocious wait time. If I remember correctly, my appointment was at 10:00. I arrived slightly late, with baby in tow, at 10:08. Around 10:40 my vision was checked by an assistant. I was finally seen by Dr. Straiko at 11:30, and in the mean time had a very over-tired and upset baby. I had no idea the appointment would take that long- after all it was in the morning, and the Dr. spent less than 10 minutes with me. That afternoon, my patient paperwork came in the mail, and the paperwork warned that appointments take at least 1 hour, if not two. I have no idea why they need you to be in the clinic for so long- I would have appreciated a more realistic time slot, such as 11:00 if he wasn't going to see me until after then, anyway!

I would recommend him. I have had great results with everything he has done.

I've been going to Devers for over 10 years. They do a fantastic job fitting me for contacts and they make sure all my questions are addressed. I never feel rushed. Staff (especially Karen!) is very friendly and knowledgeable. They've always been punctual.
