We called for several estimates. They came in with the best bid and I liked Jim a lot. Very nice and personable. They made an appointment for a few days later. They came in, installed the A/C (we already had the duct work), brought in an Electrician to set up the wiring and moved our thermostat. It was done in two days. They were quick and good. They even set up my appointment for the city to come in and do the inspection. The inspection passed and all is well!

Fred impressed me, as he was the only bidder to crawl the pipe routing and understand the challenges before providing a cost. He was able to come quite quickly and do the work in a long day. His team was courteous and professional, and it passed inspection with no problems. He was helpful in follow up calls.

Fred came out the very day I called, scheduled a time the next day to come and cut a couple holes to see if this was even going to be possible (didn't charge me for his time doing that). When we figured it looked possible, he scheduled the next day to come out and do the job. He and another guy (Sam, I think) came out and together they did the job very neatly. They worked together well and made the finished product look terrific. Even saved me as much cabinet space as possible above the hood by making a rectangular duct. The other part of the story is that, before I decided that I just "wanted" venting above my stove, a different company had told me that I "needed" it in order to be compliant with code standards... Fred was coming to give me another quote and also was kind enough to be very honest in telling me that I didn't NEED to do it at all. I really felt good about his honesty. Absolutely recommended.
