Had a great experience with these guys. Justin Snodgrass is a very good consultant. I did not had to leave my home even once to check out samples. Whatever I needed installed or planted was bought to me. He bought me the samples for the synthetic grass to look at and select also picked them up. He was very patient and was personally at my house to answer question and concerns. Very professional, not pushy at all, on time and always reachable by phone/txts/email. My backyard turned out exactly the way I wanted. It looks great. The worker who installed the synthetic grass was skilled and knew what he was doing. The crew that came to work was very professional as well. They listened to my suggestions and made sure I am satisfied with the work. They had good work etiquette and kept areas clean and free of clutter during the time period of their work. The price was reasonable. All the people I worked with know what they are doing and were good at it. I would definitely hire them again.

Very unsatisfied with supervisor's choice of plants. I asked for easy care plants and keep it simple. He showed up with high maintenance plants. Lilac trees were planted on either side of a very small Japanese maple with three shrubs planted directly underneath the maple. Numerous plants required pruning several times each season. Many were far too large to be planted in such small areas. We intentionally killed several that were completely unsuitable and had to relocate numerous others. Still not done relocating. Next we have to replant. The supervisor that chose the plants was totally unqualified to do so. He was an amateur. No chance for Seven Dees to work here again in the future. I submitted this review about two years ago and didn't notice the process failed. This is a re-submission.

even with the pad laid out, was wrong shape, not level, not enough gravel, pavers not laid out, after second attempt not right, person could not understand what was wrong, no matter how it was explained, kept contacting after was told not to, several times, took 4 attempts to get a supervisor on phone, who reduced price, not enough but glad to be done with them. They came recommended by a contractor and a client, I guess you have a big job they send the big guns, if you have a small job that you're splitting up into segments, you get F troop.

I told the landscape designer that I wanted easy maintenance shrubs with simple design. I told him to look at one of my neighbors yards to get just what I meant. He obviously did not check my neighbors yard. Many different types of shrubs were planted in my gardens. Some needed pruning 2 to 3 times each season or more. Many had to be transplanted elsewhere in the yard. Some were simply killed. We still have more to relocate. The landscape designer was an amateur in my opinion. 7 Dees didn't bother to tell me that. I won't use this company again. Lesson learned. Ask how much experience the designer has!!! I paid $9,000.

Fantastic.  We are very pleased with the results.  The designer, Lars Nielsen, was great to work with.  He is professional, pleasant, responsive and followed up quickly.  The crew was also the same and great to deal with doing everything we wanted.  Polite and professional and cleaned up spotlessly.  The crew leader, Juan was great.  We would deal with Lars and the crew again.  We have received many compliments on the job and would recommend them  If we have more yard work to do we will hire them.

One of the best dealings we have had with contractors.   We would recommend anyone considering landscape work to be sure to talk to them.  We heard they were expensive but we feel we got our money's worth.  They are on our A list.

They did what they said they would do, when they would do it, and did it through to completion, professionally. This is the second significant project done with the company and they are professional, consistent, and they get absolutely great plants. they cost more than other landscapers, but when quality matters it is worth the extra to hire them.

I got exactly what I wanted. I liked that I had something else in my mind. They made some suggestions of how to save money. It was not exactly what I had in mind but I was very happy with it. They are expensive but I an happy with what I have. They were very responsive. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and they communicated well. They followed up when the work was done to see how it went. They completed the work in two days.

They were very professional. They were punctual, they did exactly what they said they were going to do and they did it on time, finished on time, were very careful. It was a two day job and I have a two dogs and a cat. So they were very careful and kind of protected their work so that the dogs and kids could still get around overnight while they weren't here. They went that extra mile as they disturbed some grass in an area and they laid it again in that area. They did what they said they were going to do for the price they said, so I was happy.

There were no problems whatsoever with getting the job done. This company was very responsive to our requests and had a work crew whom they used on a regular basis and who knew how to do a perfect job.

I spent about $4000 on their services. The service was wonderful. The quote was timely and their response was timely. The quote was timely and the response for scheduling people worked out great. The crew was amazingly bright and neat. They just did the work and went on. It went really well. I picked them and I talked to several different people. I will use their services again in the future.

We have been very happy with them. The only downside is their pricing, they are expensive. They stand behind their work and everything they do; they do excellent; high quality work. The work they have done is drop dead gorgeous and we are very pleased.

I would give them A's across the board except the price. They have been all day here. Their price is little high. They take care of whatever you need. They think about things ahead of time for landscaping. They always plan up for the future. The manager is really outgoing. I wouldn't use anybody else. I would use them in the future.

Everything looks great, we get alot of compliments on how our yard looks. However the, sprinkler system was hookuped incorrectly for a few months, but they came back fixed it. One issue I wold like to note is that we were originally under charged and they later came back asking for the difference.

We met Annie Bamberger at a Home and Garden Show in March, I think. She offered to design and implement a new look for our back yard. About a month later, she came back with two wonderful design plans: one with a deck we thought we wanted, and one with stone steps leading down to a large patio with two seating areas. We immediately decided on the patio design as it would be more private, and there'd be no grass to struggle trying to maintain. The job took 3 weeks and 3 men to implement it: two weeks to demo and reconstruct the yard and one week to plant. It officially started April 18, 2011 (the crew supervisor and his boss came out the week before to discuss amongst themselves how to proceed). One of the concrete pads took two days to demolish, having broken one industrial drill, then using a majorly impressive jackhammer and concrete saw to break up the rest (the pad turned out to be 13" to 17" thick; normally they're about 9" thick or less). They took the chunks away, then scraped up the grass and took that away. They then regraded the ground and made outlines to mark the various areas of landscape that would be changed. While the crew was not completely cooperative and respective of our fence painter's needs (dirt splattered on newly power-washed fence before it could be painted), Annie was able to get their cooperation after it was explained to them why they needed to be careful around the fence for a few days. After the fence painter was out of their way, they got to work laying the patio pavers and building the raised beds. During this time it was discovered the drainage from the gutters was not helping the landscape so we had to authorize some new drainage areas to go in, to take water AWAY from the house. The gravel pathways around both sides of the house were created. I believe, at this time, they also readjusted the irrigation (wiring and heads changed) to accommodate the new design. Compost and other nutrients were mixed in with the current soil. Plants and trees (very small trees) that we already had were moved into their new homes. The third week, the new trees and bushes were brought in and planted; they staked the trees so they'll be well-established by next Spring. Then they brought in the river rock to use as edging around the fence line and barkdust for all the beds. Due to rainy weather, they had to wait and come back in the fourth week, just one day, to put polymer sand between the paver bricks to deter seeds and weeds from growing there.
