Everything went smoothly. I've been using Denis for years, and he's still doing a great job. Reliable and friendly and knows his stuff.

It went much better than I thought. Denis arrived (early even!) and went quickly to work. He loosened up the keys and tuned the entire piano twice. He was also frank about the fact that, given the amount of tuning that was done, the piano probably will go back out of tune in 6-12 months (which I already knew ). And, he did all this in around 90 minutes (I thought it would take quite a bit longer). I was very happy with the entire experience.

Denis was very prompt and efficient. He made several calls to confirm times and dates. He was very pleasant and professional. He did what he said he'd do and appears to have done a fine job. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again for this service.

It took a few days for Denis to return my call, but he set up an appointment right away and arrived on time. He did an excellent job.

Denis tuned the upright piano twice, as is his custom with pianos that haven't been tuned in awhile. We had the piano in our home for 25 years and never had it tuned. Denis fixed a couple of stuck keys and replaced some felt contact pads. When the work was finished, my son telephoned and left a musical answering machine message. He sounded very happy with the results.

Denis was so prompt he must have been waiting outside our house to ring the bell! (Kidding...) He has a pleasant, knowledgeable attitude from his years at this tuning profession. All the work was accomplished in three visits (see above) and we were only without the working piano overnight because he picked up the keyboard one day and returned it with the hammers all sanded (or "voiced") early the next day. The one flaw in our pleasure is that we queried him about removing kitty paw prints from the lid of the piano. Well, in trying to help, Denis gave us a bottle of "Cory AllBrite", a solution to be applied sparingly with the requisite clean, soft cloth. You probably guessed it: a smidge of the stuff caused the finish to get cloudy, which no rubbing removes. Denis said he has used it for years and never had a problem with it. He did recommend a couple (antique) furniture refinishers. We will be having one visit us to see what can be done, on our "dime." ;-(

It took a few weeks to be fit into his schedule. Once Denis arrived, went just fine. Pianos sound good. Went to his shop to pick up the repaired music shelf.

Denis did an excellent job tuning my Kimball piano. He was quick and efficient, and got to work right when he got here. He is courteous and friendly. I felt very comfortable having him in my home. The piano sounds really great now and the keys seem more springy and reactive. It had been a long time since it was tuned, so Denis tuned it twice, using the second tuning as a fine tuning. He also fixed a key that would always stick anytime it was pressed. I was able to get an appointment with him within a week of calling and am amazed at how quickly the whole task was taken care of. I am very happy with his work and recommend him highly.
