Dede is a very nice, personable agent. However, in retrospect, we realized we should have not used her to sell our home. She undervalued it significantly. I pushed back and had her increase our asking price almost 20% from what she thought we should ask. Turns out our house sold in 1 day for nearly 10% over that price in a bidding war! While she's very knowledgeable about real estate in many ways, we were disappointed in this lack of market knowledge. Also, after we closed the deal, there was a small dispute with the buyer about something in the house. It wasn't a huge deal. It got resolved fairly quickly, but before it was she told me, ''I don't want to be caught in the middle of this.'' However, it was because of what she had told the buyer that led to the misunderstanding! She should have confirmed with us first and then admitted to her part; instead of trying to blame us.
