DECK TEK NORTHWEST

Vic is a really nice guy but has a very poor track record. He is non-responsive and shows up late when he is finally reached. We had him do work on the back deck four years ago and he did a very good job but proceeded to make repairs that had not been authorized. They needed to be done but he did not communicate with us to give an estimate of the additional work nor did he get permission to move forward. He just did the work and expected to be paid. The work was very good but Vic lacks professionalism in his approach to customers.
We recently used him again (hoping that he would have changed) and he did, but not for the better. He started the work in September but did not finish until February. He literally disappeared for months leaving the work partially finished. His voice mail box was full, he did not respond to texts, and essentially vaporized for months. He finally contacted us with statements that he was in the process of getting divorced and had lost track of time.
He finished the work in two days and again he and his crew did a great job. We are pleased with the result...just not the drama that went along with it.

WE HAD A LOT OF MILDEW AND SLIME ON OUR DECK, SO I DIDN'T THINK THAT WE COULD EFFECTIVELY CLEAN IT ON OUR OWN. SO I HIRED DECK TEK NW TO DO IT. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID A VERY GOOD JOB. WHAT I ESPECIALLY LIKED, THOUGH, WAS THEIR ADVICE ON FUTURE CARE.
