Deck Masters, llc is a licensed contractor who focuses on building decks, fences, and patio covers. We have many years of experience and pride ourselves on a job well done. We place a high value on hiring the right people so that you get educated well trained individuals doing your work. At Deck Masters, we strive to make the building process as hassle free as possible. From the initial bid to the actual building to the final walk through, you will be working with qualified competent professionals. The owner Chris does most sales himself and our project manager Matt does the ordering of materials and training of employees as well as communicating with customers throughout the process. At Deck Masters, "Building Decks is our passion. Customer service is our priority."

DeckMasters exceeded my expectations. Their estimates were accurate, their employees are skilled and great to work with, and the project manager and owner were very communicative and responsive. They cleaned up daily and the finished product is OUTSTANDING. I would hire them again without hesitation!

Working with Deck Masters was one of the best experience I had working with a contractor in my life. Seriously! I had them coming out to give me a quote last November. The estimator Nick was professional and knowledgeable. But the price was more than what I wanted to spend, even though it was in the mid range of bids I received. I picked the lowest priced contractor who came across very nice and personable. It was a big mistake! By early February, my deck wasn't even started even though it was supposed to be done. I called Deck Master and asked them to help. Not only they honored the original quote, they worked with me on the extra details my project required. Then the deck was started as scheduled and finished on time. More importantly, the workmanship and the quality of materials made me so happy that I paid the extra, because it was well worth it. Thank you, Chris, Nick, Matt, Jim and Christian! Looking at my beautiful and solid deck, I'm grateful for you all!

It was a great experience from the start. Chris, the owner, came out to discuss the project with us and helped us to refine our thoughts into tangible designs. Then Kyle and Fernando did a great job of building. . .they were very pleasant, punctual and professional and the craftsmanship was superb. The care they put into every step of the construction was impressive. . .as my wife said they created a work of art in our front yard. We couldn't be more pleased.

Deck Masters did an awesome job! Our new deck looks beautiful. Our yard is on a massive slope so its not the easiest to work with. They ripped out our old rotted deck and non-functional hot tub, replaced with a new layout of Trex decking, complete with cedar privacy screen & gate and railed stairs up from the front driveway. We ran in into one minor issue when we realized our retaining wall didn't go down has far as I had thought (they were dropping the deck to make it all one height rather than the multiple stair-step levels it had been previously). Kyle immediately came and talked with me about my options (from minor adjustments at no extra cost, to changing the build and the approx money that would entail). He discussed the pros and cons of each option, and offered his opinion when I asked for it. Throughout the whole project, their communication was great,and they were always very professional. They kept the job sit clean and organized at the end of each day. I would definitely hire them again (and in fact plan on having them replace our upper deck when we are ready to dive into that project).

Deck Masters came right away and gave us a bid for redoing our deck using Trex materials for the deck flooring and a new wood railing. They gave us an option to wait until winter to have the work done and receive a discount, which we took them up on. The quality of workmanship is excellent. The deck stairs are so solid that it literally feels like we are walking on a foundation of cement when we use them. The deck railing was a custom design, and they did exactly what we asked, and the quality of the wood is exceptional. The crew had very respectful behaviors, which was really nice, because sometimes that can be a problem with contractors and/or crews. We will hire Deck Masters again if we have any deck or fence needs in the future, and we will definitely recommend them to family and friends. If there was something I HAD to "complain" about, it would be that they ran a bit over on their estimated time of completion. It was supposed to have been done in a week, but went a couple days over. However, that was NOT a problem for us. Can not wait for the sun to come out so we can sit out and enjoy our beautifully redone deck!

We strive to meet our estimated completion dates and usually do, but our focus is on quality over quantity. So we sometimes have to sacrifice speed for quality of the final product. We figure our customers will be living with the deck for the rest of the time they are at their house. So it's better to have a disturbance of a couple extra days rather than rush through the job and potentially have our craftsmanship suffer, which would be seen for years."

These guys were great! Showed up on time every single day of 3 week job. The guys were nice and accommodating and worked like dogs in incredible heat. The decks look great. I would absolutely recommend them. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Working with Chris, the owner, and Micah, the project manager, was a pleasure. They were both very responsive and conscientious. They were also very willing to accommodate our needs with excellent solutions, such as the addition of a steel grate where a doormat would normally be placed. The lead carpenter did a beautiful job and had an excellent understanding of the project required. The first helper on the project abruptly quit after the first week. He was not professional and is part of the reason for the downgrade on professionalism. He was replaced with a second helper who was a huge improvement. The second helper has excellent skills and potential. We also felt that the work site appearance was, from time to time, poorly maintained, particularly over the weekend. We would hire Deck Masters again, without question.

Our entire family couldn't be happier with the work done by Chris, Matt, Kyle, and Richard. From near-daily text updates to change orders to design recommendations, these guys were totally professional and responsive. I've worked with a lot of contractors, but never any dialed in as these guys. Would highly recommend. Oh, and just as important as my family liking the work, my neighbors love it as well!

Chris was the first and only contractor we talked to when we needed our 20 year old deck and stairs replaced. We knew after our first conversation with him that we had found our guy. He came out and did a full walk around of the old deck, talked us through options, left us some sample colors of Trex materials, gave us websites to look at and lots of options (but not too many to feel overwhelmed). His team showed up on time every day and we could tell they were passionate about their craft and knowledgeable of how to make the final product perfect. Any time there were choices to be made, they paused and went over the options with us. The final product exceeded our expectations and I would absolutely recommend them to any family, friends, or neighbors who were looking to have quality updates to a current deck or having an entirely new deck built.

> Deckmasters built a new acrylite deck cover for our backyard deck in late August. The new look is polished and attractive, reduces heat and sun reduction when it’s hot, and provides lovely glowing reflections at night. The gutter means less rain gets on the edge of our deck. > > We made three other tries over 6 months to find a firm to construct the deck cover, but the estimates were high, took a long time, and weren’t very creative about handling our existing bench. Chris Marquand gave us a clear bid in a timely manner, worked out a way to lower the bench lattice just enough for clearance without changing its appearance, provided a specific schedule and actually moved the work forward one day earlier, since we had to go out of town. The staff worked very hard to complete the deck roof in one day, cleaned up completely, and were very personable. Minor confusion about the gutter downspout location was remedied right away. The acrylite surface and frame are warrantied and can stand snow. We are very happy with our new deck cover and would highly recommend Deck Masters.
