The company who installed the garage door canceled the day they were supposed to show up. I had been raising my garage door manually for a month. I got on Angie’s list and happen to call D Bar garage doors in Oregon City. Using FaceTime and doing as instructed by the technician, “we” figured it out within minutes. They did not even charge me! All I can say is wow and thank you.

Couldn't have been more pleased with Dotan's very competitive price, quality of his work and product, and his timely response. No hidden fees, no additional service call fees or diagnostic charges. One of our cars was trapped inside our garage because of a broken 20-year old garage door spring that would not allow even manual lifting. Besides replacing the double door heavy duty springs, he lubed the worm drive, hinges and rollers to ensure a smooth operation. Would defintely hire again and recommend to family and friends for any garage door repair or replacement.

Dotan and his staff were a pleasure to work with. High quality work, honest, and a fair price. They didn't bat an eye or charge an extra penny when needing to stay an extra couple of hours to make some unexpected changes at the end of the project. I hope not to need to install a garage door again any time soon but would hire them again in a second. Highly recommend.

These guys are amazing. Called in morning and Dotan committed to time in the afternoon and showed up at that time. They knew exactly what needed to be done and explained the process and cost. Dotan was also really helpful in discussing potential replacement garage doors in the future. Not trying to sell me up, but rather just giving me an honest review of the options. These are the type of people that I like to work with...they have respect for your time and property as a consumer. They deliver on what they say they are going to do and they are proud of their work. Needless to say, I didn't hesitate to book them for a follow up visit to replace the seal on garage door. Honestly, I wish there were more businesses like D Bar Garage Doors.

D Bar Garage Doors was great to work with. They were very responsive, professional, and timely. Dotan set the expectation from the first time I spoke with him and he delivered as exactly as he said. Amanda, in the office was great too. She was very responsive and worked with me by putting together prototypes of some of my selections. This made it very easy to make sure I chose the right style for my house. Amanda also seemed just as excited as I was to get my new garage door. This made it feel really great to work with them. Now I have the best looking garage door in the neighborhood! I would highly recommend D Bar Garage Doors!

The work was performed very quickly and the technician indicated the door should work at least 6 months until summer. However, he charged me $225 for less than an hour of work and no materials, which is ridiculous when you consider how much other services cost (health care, electrician, etc). And, two weeks later, the garage door is out of alignment again. I feel like I should have gotten a lot more for $225 than a 2-week fix. They should have charged less, or recommended a more permanent fix (I would have considered paying for it).

It's surprisingly difficult to get garage door repairmen out to fix a problem. Dothan carries his cell phone with him so he's able to maintain a mobile office. He called ahead of his arrival to let me know when he would get here. He saw the problem and went right to tackling it. Wasn't his fault that I have a cheap one door opener but he was able to work with it. Anyway, he's responsive and the problem is solved.

I had got very good service with them. Called them on the phone, he said he could not be out here on Sunday, but could on Monday. We arranged an meeting an time on Monday. He was prompt, cleaned, he presented himself well. He looked at my garage door, an hinge came loose, he showed me that. He screwed the hinge back on, tighten everything up, and adjusted the spring. I asked him if the spring needed to be replaced, and he said that the spring did not needed to be replaced for another ten years. The hardware cost was on the spendy side, since it was a few screws. He gave me an senior discount, and it got fixed. The garage door is now working fantastic. They quoted me a certain amount on the phone, the guy that showed up, wrote the invoice for more. I told him the guy on the phone quoted me less, and he said ok, with no problem. The personalize service, because the guy answered the phone late on an Saturday, and he impressed me. He was nice, small business type guy, who wanted to do the right thing. Which I thought was true. Given how fast they came was good, just the material's cost I was surprised by that.

When I had a problem with his proposed arrival time, he made the adjustment for me. He asked questions before he came, making sure he brought the correct part. His seal was superior to the one I had planned to use. He was punctual and worked quickly to complete the installation.
