COSTCO

Sent an email to Costco to set up an appointment for an in-home decorator to discuss blinds. They said they'd get back to me within a certain timeframe (four days I think) but didn't, so I called them. It turns out the representative had misdialed my phone number, and when she didn't reach me she didn't do anything else, like email me, to try and reach me. I finally contacted the representative and set up an appointment. I was hoping that she would walk me through the options I had with various window treatments and give me some decorating advice, even though I was leaning towards honeycomb shades. It turns out she only had info on honeycomb shades. She is new to representing the window treatment company, and didn't seem to be very well versed in their product line. I didn't feel that she gave me as much assistance as I could have received from someone more familiar with the product. After the appointment she was pretty responsive in getting me quotes, but she did make one large mistake in the quote process, which I caught. In the end another window treatment representative got me a better price on my blinds, which is surprising because Costco usually is great on price. I feel like if I had spoken with a more knowledgeable representative sent by Costco, my experience would have been very different.

The Costco rep came to our home and helped us select the carpet. The installer did an outstanding job of fitting the carpet.
