Columbia River Tile & Stone Inc

This is the second time we have used Jeff and Columbia River Tile & Stone. Just like the first time, we could not be more pleased. Jeff was a great partner before the work started, helping my wife and I understand what work we would need to have done (Jeff even helped us understand what we needed to tell the plumber to do) and helping us make decisions on the aesthetic aspects of the new shower. He was a fantastic communicator (far better than any other contractor in any other trade with whom I have worked), setting clear expectations for us so there were no surprises. Jeff even accommodated the fact that some of the tile we purchased was inconsistently sized, seamlessly working around the incongruities. I feel we may have paid a bit more than we might have if we had gone with the lowest cost option, I know

Jeff and his crew were fantastic. They did an incredibly beautiful job with handmade tiles that were unusually shaped, and a request for a random color-pop pattern. Wherever there was the option of doing something easy or doing something well, they always chose well.

Jeff and his crew just finished a big tile project at our house. Jeff came and gave us a quote and answered all the questions we had regarding the process. We got a couple of quotes and Jeff checked in with us regularly to see if we wanted to move forward. Once we made the decision to go with Columbia River he sent a contract and set the date to begin. They started one day later than anticipated but he let us know plenty of time in advance so it was not a big deal. The project went smoothly and it was great to come home each day to see the progress. Everything was neat and tidy each day and they let us know what to expect the next day. Communication was awesome. They made it as easy as possible to live with our house torn apart for two weeks as possible. We added another small project to redo the tile on the fireplace while they were doing the floors and they did an awesome job on that as well. We could not be happier with Columbia River and would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Columbia River Tile & Stone is a professional tile and stone installer. Jeff is very friendly and great to work with; and the price is very reasonable. They did a fabulous job. He did everything exactly the way he said he would do. He was here when he said he would be. He was fabulous. He put a brick floor down in my house. I would absolutely use him again and highly recommend him.

It went really well! The Columbia River Tile & Stone was always early waiting outside in their trucks so they could start right on time, completed the work on schedule, and it looks absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be using Jeff and his team again!

The job from start to finish was perfect. I will use again on my next project. A very professional person that was very easy to work with at all times. Jeff has excellent design abilities, as well as installation abilities.

I recently worked with Columbia River Tile and Stone on a bathroom remodeling project. It turned out very well, and the price was more than fair. I highly recommend Columbia, and in particular Jeff Occhipinti and his crew. This was not an easy project. My house was built in 1899. The walls, floors and ceilings are not perfectly square. The location of plumbing and light fixtures needed to be modified mid-project. Jeff and his crew met every challenge with professionalism and a great attitude. The end result is even better than I had imagined. Thanks Jeff.

We had hired another contractor to do our tile work (a new fireplace wall) and it turned out to be a huge mistake. The contractor was difficult to work with and was doing such a bad job on the installation we had to let him go. Enter Columbia River Tile and Stone. They came in and rescued the project. Thank goodness. And what a night and day difference. Owner Jeff Occhipinti was very involved in our project. His team was cooperative, communicative, honest and direct. They were total professionals throughout the process. And our new fireplace wall looks amazing. Some of the tile cuts were tricky and difficult. They handled everything perfectly. We also hired them to do a new kitchen backsplash. They made good suggestions on both projects and had total command of what they were doing.  I would not hesitate to hire him again.

The only way it could have gone better is if it were free.
Jeff was very responsive to our request for a quote, he collaborated with us on the details of the installation (his suggestions were fantastic - much better than what we had in mind originally), he and his team showed up on time, completed the work on time, the cleaned up, and most importantly, the quality is OUTSTANDING!!

From start to end, Jeff and his team were professional in all aspects of service.  Jeff provided lots of information, went out of his way to deliver top notch service, and clearly is a master at his craft.   I am extremely picky and demand quality work- Jeff exceeded my expectations.  I would highly recommend Jeff and his team - they are the best!!

Excellent from start to finish! Jeff was always on time and kept the timeline he promised. He quoted us multiple options and we eventually did demolition of existing shower and removal of old floor ourselves. Jeff was highly responsive to my multiple email questions during this period. In addition he provided excellent referrals for additional work we needed done, from a plumber to upgrade plumbing to a carpenter to repair some water damage. Jeff worked long hours, did not rush and gave close attention to doing detailed artistic work. He was very conscientious about keeping our house clean while he worked and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each workday. We are very pleased with our bathroom and will probably use him again for future projects.

Jeff was great to work with.  He was punctual, professional, reliable, and cleaned up every day before he left. He paid great attention to detail, did a flawless job all in a very timely manner.  I felt very comfortable with him in my home.  My kitchen floor looks fantastic!  Should I ever need tile work again I will call Columbia River Tile!

Went seamlessly from beginning to end.  He was very busy this summer...as most trades are here...so waited a bit.  But that wasn't a problem because we weren't using the fireplace and it took us a while to choose the tile & have it made.

He is very professional as are his two assistants. 

Price was reasonable and no add-ons.

Would use him again in a heartbeat.

Jeff was beyond professional from beginning to end.
I left a message regarding some repair work I needed done.  I also wanted a broad quote on other work, but for the time being just needed this small repair completed.  Jeff came to my home and patiently waited for me to meet him there when I late.  He assessed the work and also some great feedback on grout.
He followed up with a quote  via email and we scheduled the work.  On the scheduled morning, he showed  up on time and was finished in less time than originally anticipated so the cost was significantly less.
I was very impressed with him and the work and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Jeff was on time and immediately inspected the tiles. He identified significant blemishes in some of the glass tiles and recommended we not complete the installation because he felt the results would not be good. He was able to complete the bathroom and a small section of the kitchen and we'll reschedule to complete the remaining areas once new tile arrives. We're pleased with the work he performed and would hire him again.
