CENTRAL ELECTRONIC ALARM CO

To say it didn't go well would be an understatement!
First of all Beau did a good job installing the central distribution center and hardwiring our computers back to that distribution center - although he stupidly installed our Comcast modem in such a location that we can't get to it without a ladder and it's impossible to "reset" the modem without unplugging it.
When it came to the second part of our request he completely failed.  Unfortunately he terminated the cable and internet cables directly behind the TVs.  By wiring it this way we actually ended up requiring 2 extra cords visible below the TVs since the cable and internet cords had to be routed down to the Comcast box.
I'll be honest I don't really have a problem with an installation not going well - but I do expect the problem to be correct.  Instead Beau was insulting to my wife - shouting at her over the phone.  And he has refused to fix the problem.  Now we'll have to hire someone else to fix his mess.
Ironically we've used CEA as our alarm monitoring company for years.  In fact we've paid them over $1,200 in monitoring fees over the years.  We are now moving our monitoring to another company.  I would not recommend them to anyone.  The unprofessional way we were handled was completely unacceptable.

We installed an alarm in our house and shop. The shop was pre-wired for an alarm which made it easier. The only small issue was that during the installation there were a lot of technical issues to determine and I wasn't able to be there. My wife found this somewhat frustrating. Central Electronic Alarm only installs alarms - they don't monitor. They do work with a national service. The weekend after the alarm was installed we had a problem crop up. The national service wasn't able to resolve it so they contacted Central Electronic Alarm - they were able to resolve it with me over the phone. I would definitely work with them again.

From my initial contact with the owner all the way through to the finished installation, everyone I dealt with (technicians) was professional friendly and efficient. They installed a new battery for our home alarm system and wired us into their monitoring center.

They were very professional and worked with the phone company to make sure we didn't lose service. They explained everything to us and walked us through the instructions for using the alarm and for disarming it. They were clean and did not leave a mess in the house. We have not had a problem with the system.

Called Central Electronic Alarm for someone to give us an estimate to upgrade our burglar alarm. Owner, Bill Glasbrenner, responded within one day with a visit and estimated quote. Written quote arrived in the mail several days later. We agreed to have Central do the work. The two installers arrived on time and completed all work and cleaned up. As additional questions arose, we called the main office and received prompt and accurate responses.

The crew was very polite and professional in every way. As our home is older they were very careful with the woodwork and went to great lengths to make it look right. Work was done fast and they cleaned up every area as they completed it.

THE SALESPERSON, ERIC, WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL IN DISCUSSING MY REQUIREMENTS WHEN HE VISITED OUR HOUSE. HOWEVER, I HAD TO WAIT SEVERAL WEEKS FOR A QUOTE AND CONTACT HIM A FEW TIMES TO GET A RESPONSE. IN SPITE OF THAT, I DECIDED TO GO WITH CENTRAL ELECTRONIC ALARM BECAUSE THEY ARE LOCAL AND QUOTED A DECENT EQUIPMENT PRICE WITH THE LOWEST MONTHLY MONITORING FEE. THE INSTALLERS ARRIVED ON THE PROMISED DATE, BUT DUE TO SOME MISCOMMUNICATION AND THINGS TAKING EXTRA TIME, THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO FINISH THAT DAY. I THEN WENT THROUGH NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS TO GET A COMMITMENT ON A DATE TO FINISH THE INSTALL, WHICH WAS COMPLETED ABOUT THREE WEEKS AFTER THE INITIAL INSTALL DATE. LASTLY, ONE OF THE TECHNICIANS INSTALLED THE MOTION DETECTOR CROOKED AND PUT A STICKER RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY PAINTED FRONT DOOR. I DID NOT WANT A STICKER THERE AND REMOVED IT, WHICH TOOK SOME PAINT WITH IT.

It was a great experience! They were shorthanded that week, and the owner came with a helper, and did my work so they could keep their commitment to getting it done on time. (I had been burglarized and was in a hurry to have an alarm system in place.) They were timely, thorough, and professional. They listened to my concerns about equipment looking out-of-place in my 1912 craftsman home, and they found discreet placements for all the modern-looking gadgets. They seemed interested in helping me save money and get the job done. I continue to use their monitoring system, and the folks are extremely friendly. I LOVE that it's a local company with a strong incentive to back up their work. That's what brought me to them in the first place, and it turned out to be a very good choice.

VERY GOOD AND RESPONSIVE, BOTH WHEN INSTALLING AND SINCE AS A MONITORING SERVICE. I APPRECIATED THEIR WILLINGNESS TO ADAPT AND UPGRADE A PREVIOUS SYSTEM, RATHER THAN MAKING EXTRA $ BY MAKING ME INSTALL NEW.

THEY ALWAYS RESPOND QUICKLY. THEY ARE VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL. THEY DO NOT MIND RESPONDING AND THEY HAVE FOUND THAT WE SOMETIMES ACCIDENTLY SET OFF THE ALARM BY FORGETTING TO TURN IT OFF. THEY STILL RESPOND EVERY TIME IN THE SAME MANNER.

I WAS HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AND QUICKNESS THEY RESPONDED TO MY REQUEST TO HAVE AN ALARM SYSTEM INSTALLED IN MY HOME. THEY WENT OVER THE VARIOUS OPTIONS AND HELPED ME COME TO THE BEST SYSTEM FOR MY SITUATION.

THEY CAME TO OUR HOME, EVALUATED, RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS AND SOLD US THE MATERIALS NEEDED TO INSTALL OUR ALARM SYSTEM. THEIR MONITORING SERVICE HAS WORKED FLAWLESSLY AND IS FRIENDLY.
