Cd Johnson Furnace Service

Company had previously serviced my furnace on 4/13/07 and had done a good job. I called C.D late morning and asked about the cost to do this job and when he may be able to perform the work. He advised more specific information was needed before he could provide an answer...he needed the mfg., model and serial number from the furnace. I got the information and called him back with the information he had requested. He said he now knew what was needed. I asked for the cost to do the repair and was told $300-$400. I wanted some time to prepare for access to the furnace, he advised today was the best day and he could be there in 1 hour. I agreed and then cleared the area around the furnace and removed the sheet metal panels exposing the blower motor. C.D. Arrived in about 1-1/2 hours and completed the repair in just under an hour.

CD advised he purchased parts from the manufacturer and wrote me a bill for: service call - $175.00 & $ 440.00 for motor and capacitor, total of $615.00!

C.D. Used an HC 43 AE 115 1/2 HP aftermarket motor supplied by the replacement components division of factory authorized parts. After C.D left I contacted another dealer and was quoted $135.00 for the motor and $24.00 for the capacitor.

I was taken advantage of by this service provider and am making this report so others will not be taken in by the quotes provided by this company

I have been using their services for about ten years. They did a professional job and have good rates.

We had relatives coming for a visit and the furnace would not fire up. With spare bedrooms far from any fireplace source of heat I needed the furnace to work!   Called CD Johnson Furnace and he said he could come out right away. He was very professional, friendly to work with and efficient in his work.  He needed a special part and he had the right fit on his service truck.  While he was there he also serviced the furnace, checked the filters and made sure everything was ready for winter! We have been warm ever since and I have referred his company  to my mother, a senior,  who felt very comfortable with him in her home.  I prefer to support a local business and I was very pleased with my choice. He saved the day just before Thanksgiving and he will be our go-to service man in the future!

C D always shows up when he says he will. He is very knowledgeable and dependable. We have been very pleased with the service he provides and have recommended him to others.

I am very happy with Johnson Furnace Service. Will use him as my # 1 serviceman in future.

Found soot around furnace. Called CD Johnson and 1 hour later they came to do a tune up.

I have used C.D. Johnson numerous times to service my oil furnace over several years. He is very professional, knowledgeable and courteous.

They came out to repair my thermostat because it would not click on. I first called on a Friday, he wasn't able to come out until Wednesday afternoon due to truck problems. Once he showed up in the late afternoon, he was able to finish the work in a timely manner. This is the second time i have used this company and i will use them in the future
