After confirming with seamstress that this was possible, the comforter was returned to us machine stitched through to both sides. The stitching was uneven, bright thread was used making it highly visible, and the tiny stitches ruined the comforter. The stitches were removed by Catrick Cleaners, and the holes were hand sewn as originally requested, but a new hole on the other side was made from the machine stitches. This was clearly visible at the center-foot-end of the bed. The owner at the store took no ownership for ruining the comforter. Because the comforter had been ruined, we had to escalate this issue through Catrick Cleaners owners. This took some time, but they did reimburse us for the comforter.

Customer service at this location is wonderful, however, the company (like most dry cleaners) sends their work to an off-site plant where the goods are cleaned. We are now looking for a new cleaners because the overall quality of workmanship is not up to our expectation. We frequently have shirts returned with broken buttons (which they're more than happy to repair, but is inconvenient because you don't notice it until you put it on). Overtime, white and light colored shirts have turned dingy with collar rings starting to show. We never had these problems with our previous cleaner (20 years at that location prior to moving). The pressing is not always crisp and frequently has to be re-done at home to look sharp. The bottom line is that we've given them a year-long try and have decided to look elsewhere. This will be inconvenient because they are very close to our home.
