wants to know about it and will make it right.
Last December, during a rain storm, I walked out into our garage and water was dripping from our ceiling. It was a bad leak. I made it to the top of the roof with a tarp and firewood to stop the leak. The next week, I invited three roofing companies to come and provide me a quote. Cascade was the first visit. The salesman, named Daniel Koole, parked at the top of our street 10 minutes before the time he said he was going to be here. Ten minutes later, he drove down and parked. He rang the door bell right on time. He took the time and measured everything. He even looked into the attic. He was professional and cared about our issue. Prior to him leaving, he said that he would send us the quote via email later that day. The quote was sent about three hours later. The other roofing companies were not so quick.
When we made the decision to go with Cascade, we called Daniel and told him we wanted to get started. Just like the first time, he showed up on time with a smile. We picked our roofing type and color, signed the contract, and wrote a $200 deposit check. He said the first part of March was available, but we pushed it off until spring break in March. Daniel said, "it's the most money you will spend in a short period of time".
The Friday before spring break, Cascade called and told us they will start the job the following Tuesday. They said the crew would be here between 8-9 am. This was the first dry day in along time. Finally Tuesday came. At 7:30, Martin, the foreman, parked in front of the house. Then 15 minutes later the rest of the crew arrived. There were 10 of them. At 8 am sharp, Martin rang the door bell and introduced himself. We walked around the house and I pointed out issues with the roof. Martin was professional and listened to what I had to say.
They started out protecting our hot tub with tarps and two sheets of plywood and then another tarp. They did a great job of protecting the property.
This crew got the job done in less then two days. We love our new roof. They gave us the rest of the shingles for the shed. Daniel stopped by about an hour after the crew left and gave us four more bundles of shingles. Now that is customer service! They even gave us the drip edges, so I can correctly install my roof on the shed.
Another thing to point out was the integrity of this crew. Francisco came in to cut the three holes for our solar tunnels. Then he went to the roof to cut the holes up there. During the cutting of the roof, I heard this big bang. The piece of plywood fell and landed on the plastic lens, which put a crack in it. About three or four hours later, Francisco came to the door to finish the tunnels. I told him that I wanted to show him something. He said that he knew and had a new plastic lens in his hands. This is honesty and integrity at its purist. You can trust Cascade.
Outstanding job, Cascade. We will recommend you to anyone. Keep up the great work!
